I have t started using them yet but they are the perfect size and excellent quality for my upcoming travels. I especially like the band that easily wraps around your current labe, or wherever you want to bookmark a place in the book.

Brought this on my car and it fit perfectly in my purse. Got to use it on the train, while waiting for dinner and on the airplane. So happy I bought this.

Perfect for portability! Good quality paper

I don’t think I would use these as watercolor journals, but if I did, I couldn’t consider them 48 pages. 230gsm is just too thin to use for even light washes & have the back of the page still useable. The page buckles easily with light washes, and the colors peek through the other side. It doesn’t absorb enough of water to do a lot of watercolor with it, and the texture is different on either side of the paper, making it inconsistent for dual page pieces.I still like these as sketchbooks for pencil, pen, and marker (but not a lot of marker). The paper feels like it’s good quality, and it’s a nice weight for dry media/light ink work. I haven't had any issues with ink bleed, but if you do large amounts of ink or ink wash, that will likely happen. I do think the binding is a bit tight, making it a little hard to keep it open while in use. I’m sure that will get easier with use, though.I also really like how they look. They both have nice woven fabrics as the covers, though they are different fabrics, not just different colors.The elastic is easy to use and not too tight. I like that it includes a little clear pocket at the end and a ribbon bookmark is built-in.Overall, I think these are great little sketchbooks, just not great for watercolor.

Perfect size for watercolor travel journal

I use these as my watercolor sketch books. Small, easy to carry. The paper is good quality. If you are looking, these are for you! Price is right, too!!

These little books are cute but a bit too small to do anything really in them. I keep one on my desk to doodle in while working. It helps to focus when on meetings or trainings, but the pages are quite small and in the middle of the book the pages by the binding are stuck together, they don’t open easily.

Nice paper weight, holds up well, and perfect size for pocket sketching. Used for ink, watercolour and gouache, Comes in two pack which is great value.
