Excellent door handle. I've never fitted a door handle before, and so I was very apprehensive. I did have to enlarge the hole in the door (54mm) to make way for this new handle, but I managed to do it. And, it was very easy to fit. I am very impressed with the quality and the locking mechanism. Even the latch plate and strike plate look great. Plus, the instructions and the paper template were very helpful. Would recommend. Fast delivery & nicely packaged. Also, came with 3 keys. Very pleased.. Thank You! :)

Solid , very well finishing

These are good quality handles, as you can see from the picture I still have some finishing to do, but they are fitted and working fine. the finish on the handles is good, and they work well. I'm using for a bathroom. They were relatively easy to fit, other than in order to keep the design slim, much of the mechanism is embedded in the door, so a lot of cutting away was required to fit them. Other than that, no problem.

I got this lockable door handle set to replace an existing door handle set for a home office which I wanted to add additional security to, but as the fixings are very different (existing set has a small hole for the mechanism to go through the barrel), I found that having to use a hole saw to extend the hole to 54mm (and I have the tools to do so) very difficult as a hole saw is designed to first drill a small hole for the saw to have purchase then make the hole. If you already have a hole, it is impossible to do this, so you need to use forstner 54mm drill bit instead and be very careful, or replace the door at the same time (door must be 35-45mm thickness, no more, no less otherwise the handles don't work).The literature supplied is very much aimed at installing on new doors for which the product is no doubt excellent (it looks and feels very good and is a nice sturdy product), but it should state the requirement to have an existing 54mm hole, or the ability to drill one for replacing an existing handle.I've rated as 3 stars as the product is no doubt great for new doors, just not very good for existing doors which have older style handles and don't already have the pre-requisite hole in place.
