I recently bought this Electric Can opener for my mom, she's suffering from arthritis and her weak hands can't open the can easily. But with this It's so easy to open the can without any effort or hard work for her. The battery included with this item makes product open and ready to go. I recommend this product it saves time and very useful product especially for elderly people or people who don't want to waste their times in the kitchen, just press the button and it opens can smoothly. This is absolutely brilliant. Easy to operate and works exactly as advertised. Huge advantage is that it leaves no sharp edges and a replaceable lid that fits back into the tin. Means easy to use half a tin and put remainder back into 'fridge neatly and properly covered.Reason for only 4 stars - it did fail once and that was on a rectangular tine of sardines in oil. In all fairness tis tin has tight corners and a very unusually deep and crimped top.But - still a superb buy. I have some arthritic fingers and this has been a huge help -- no more ring-pulls !!

Wonderful tin opener! I had an electric opener but it could be fiddly to put the tins in the correct place and it left very sharp edges. This is SO easy. Just place it on the top of the can, press the button and let it do its thing! No sharp edges and if the top doesn’t come off easily just a gentle squeeze of the tin and off it pops.Highly recommended especially if you have arthritis or other hand limitations.

Not the best, works on some cans, unpredictable, ended up purchasing a manual tin opener again.
