My plumber was happy with these for our new towel radiators

The valves arrived well packaged and seem of good quality.I was hoping to be able to replace the existing valves on a towel rail with these quite easily. The tail pieces into the rail are standard compression fitting and not radiator connections (as existing) which I realised beforehand and didn't consider to be a problem. However the compression nuts that connect the pipework to the valve are not standard size, therefore you'll have to remove the existing olives and replace the compression nuts. Aggravation if you're in a tight space.If you're using these on a new installation then they're a good valve and connection will be straightforward

these are very good basic radiator valves they look good they are well made and they do the job I bought them for which is for a bathroom radiator where they would be open 95% of the time

Standard 15mm compression joints, decent quality olives, well engineered with a nice feel when pinching up the nuts and a smooth opening / closing action. Well packaged and unlikely to be damaged in transit but take care not to damage the high gloss chrome finish during installation.

There's not really much I can say about a pair of radiator valves. They arrive in a cut out foam lined box so are well protected. They have a good weight to them and the chrome work is extremely good. The threads on the tails has been cleanly cut so should screw in with no problems. It should be remembered that these are straight through valves and are not as widely used as angled ones but they are certainly fit for purpose. At the time of this review they cost £15.99, that is a reasonable average price for this type of valve.
