These slides are great for the classroom or for students working at home. They are plastic so no worries about breaking glass. They are all labeled with the name as well as a picture of the organism. If you have an overhead light, you can see color-which I think is cool.The best this about these is how many you get and the variety for such a low price. I teach k-5th grade labs so I use different slides for different grades depending on what they are studying at the time.

Organized, diverse and affordable. Nice addition to our microscope. Kids really enjoy looking at those slides.

Two of the four boxes of slides were damaged. One had the cellophane covering torn opened. Luckily none of the slides were damaged. I was able to tape the top of the box and still present it as a gift.

This is perfect for kids. If you are using this just to explore and have a bit of fun at home I highly recommend these. If your wanting to use these for a school project over all probably still a good option. A couple of the slides with larger items you can kinda see the plastic covering them which won't ruin the experience but if your not 100% sure what your looking for you might be looking at the plastic thats what happened to my son "mom its the same as the last one" which i readjusted it and all was well. For the price and the amount you get this little "downside" is super easy to over look. I'd still recommend this

Not worth the money. The slides are flimsy. They separate easily and the specimen inside slides out.

It is hes first experience with microscope and slides. They are durable I think a lexand or something I do not think they r glass. He has dropped them and they survive fine. Cool slides to look at and he gets self motivated to look at them. ***** 5 star

Goes well with the microscope and project book I bought at the same time. Presentation could use some sprucing up - like making a box to hold the slides available (even as a separate purchase.) But all-in-all a good value.

These are decent slides for what they cost. If you have a good compound microscope, you should buy better slides. These slides are best for lower power observing but they won't be so great at higher powers and so you can't explore in depth like you can with high quality glass slides. I do like this set, though, and I think it is good for kids' microscopes. I especially liked the pollen and the shrimp eggs!
