Constantly fails to recognize CD that are inserted -- sometimes waiting a couple of minutes gets things going again, sometimes not. Will not eject unrecognized CDs (a manual eject with a paper clip's required). N.b., this is with the player plugged directly into a USB3 port on the computer.

Wont read videos off dvds, Will work with installing files from dvd cd.

This sometimes reads DVDs but does not recognize/play/read/write on CDs.

Can't burn Restore Disc...DVD, CD....nada. Tried and tried. Don't care about Read, and didn't try.Error message was wrong media....used 4 DVD's....Staples, and Memorex.
