Simple install
I was in the market for a keyless system for my RV when I saw this product. What turned me to it is the fact it has 2 key fobs, so you can give the 2nd to family or whomever. PIN access and still has keys available in case the batteries go out. Super simple installation, and the quick start instructions were clear and concise. Works well for me. This went into a 2023 Keystone Passport SL. Very happy so far.

Good lock for RV
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love this RV Lock. We wanted an upgraded lock that had the key fob and the key pad so you don’t need a key and it’s been amazing so far we’ve had it a couple months now and no issues with it. One con of the key fob is that they are pretty big and heavy which is a downside, it’s too big and heavy to have on my regular keys it would be nice to see them fix that and make it more compact for everyday use.

Required slight modification of the lock hole to slide in and line up properly.
arrived in timely fashion. I needed to slightly enlarge the bottom of the opening so the catch would align properly and upper right corner to allow the lock to slide in. I used a Dremel with a sanding wheel to sand away the door material. be careful it remove material fast. The lock slid in and tightened up. Installed batteries, programed the lock and it worked. Program the two fobs and they work also, the keys work too.

Great quality - had minor issues
UPDATE: I added a previous update where I had lowered my rating of this product because I thought it had gone through a whole set of batteries after just a month. I thought it was beeping to let me know it was low on battery (like a smoke detector). Turns out, the beep was coming from my electrical panel next to the door. SO, MY SINCERE APOLOGIES, my main complaint was not valid. Other than the minor "state management" issue mentioned below, which you can train yourself to avoid, it is a very good product.<DELETED>It also seems to have a software glitch, whether intentional or unintentional. My old one would let me lock the door by simply pressing the lock button OR by reentering the code. It's been a hard habit to break, but if you start entering the code to lock it, it thinks you're in "unlock" mode and it won't open the door. It gets terribly confused as to what state it's in. I think that now that I know what it's doing, I can avoid it, but it took a while to figure out why it was ignoring me and getting confused. In hindsight, this may be how I locked myself out during the install process.ORIGINALAn excellent, solid product. These locks are wonderful - I put one on my last trailer not realizing I would like having it so much, so when I traded up my trailer, I got this one to do it again.I think I'm going to really like it, but I won't commit to a 5-star review just yet.It took me longer to install than I thought. I don't know if it's the product that's a little out-of-standard or my trailer, but when I went to angle it into the opening, the lock was a millimeter or two too big to go in at the necessary angle. I thought I was going to have to file/dremel off part of the hole to make it fit (which was annoying since I did the install while camping and didn't have those tools with me.) Finally, I just pushed it in as far as I could and gave it a whack with the palm of my hand and it snapped into place with cracking the door panel. The instructions were not clear on where the gasket went, and I put it in the wrong place and then had to remove everything again. Getting the cable through the door is a no-brainer, but it's kind of a pain to make sure it stays out of the way when you go to close the two halves together.I then did the worst thing imaginable... after setting and resetting the code several times (either due to failing the process or changing my mind) I went to test the final change AFTER I CLOSED THE DOOR and accidentally LOCKED it instead of UNLOCKING it! NONE of the codes (or the default code) worked! Ack! All the tools and keys were inside! What a moron! Fortunately, after having a mild heart attack, I remembered that I had casually tossed a spare key to the OTHER trailer door into the truck before we left... and Saints be praised... I hadn't locked the truck like I normally do. Major crisis averted. Point of story: MAKE SURE you test your code before closing the door! None of this, of course, is the lock's fault. One thing I need to keep a watch on: for some reason, the alignment is not as precise as it was on the original lock and unless I push on the door really hard, the bolt doesn't engage (and therefore does not lock). The second day, it seemed I only needed to press lightly for it to engage... so maybe I'll get it dialed in and not have to worry about that anymore. (UPDATE: not sure why, but it quickly settled in and now needs no application of pressure to close)

Great device.
Grand Design 295RL. Installation was about 1/8 off. Not enough to drill file holes. A rubber mallet and 2 knocks toPush it in, perfect fit. The instructions on setting your code is missing a check mark, but the picture scheme showed it. This device, an excellent machine and works flawlessly. WellWorth the price and very versatile. Key fobs are extra. The keypad is enough. Love it.

Great product.
This product came in a timely manner, was well packaged. It had clear, concise instructions and even a video to show you how to install it. Installation was a breeze, we only had to cut a tiny area to get it to fit. All of the buttons and codes work great. We use the key fob most of the time. The locking mechanism works great!I would buy this rv door keypad again.

Great lock, great service
This door lock is amazing, it’s very sturdy. It’s easy to install and program. I absolutely love it. The only problem is do not put the remote on your key chain. The remote disconnects from the key really easy, you can do it with one hand. I lost mine and had to contact customer service for another one. If it happens to you customer service is absolutely amazing as well. I emailed Rachel back and forth and she was very prompt and very helpful to resolve my issue.

Nice lock
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Nice lol system. Super fast unlock and lock. Build quality seems to be great.Only negative I have is my clear slide on my screen door is flat and won’t slid over this lock. I’ll need to buy a bubble slide for the screen door. As a child safety feature would be nice to have the slide to cover the door handle. Even though you can deadbolt it. It will keep kids from wanting to play with it so I will have to order a bubble cover.Speed:fast. By the time you’re done entering the code it’s already unlocked. Not slow like my last one that would take a second or two to fully unlock.Ease of installation:Installation was maybe 15 minutes, including programming of the remotesUpdate. So only issue I’ve had is this second trip the door handle started coming loose. I may use a little loctite on the threads of the bolts this time.
