This has got to be healthy!
I love the ingredients and how this is sourced. It has got to be healthy. I'm actually drinking it right now just mixed in water. It is drinkable. I like greens, but sometimes stuff like this can be even a little strong for even me. This isn't bad. It almost has a little smoky taste. You can also blend this in a smoothie and it probably wouldn't have any taste at all. I used to love blended spinach and banana, but I cut back on raw spinach because of oxalates. I may start throwing this in the blender, but i don't mind drinking it straight.I could spice it up a little with lemon juice and maybe some cayenne. I think that would be really good, but I like it fine plain with just water. I can almost feel the energy when drinking this.

Clean simple ingredients. Made in the USA.
I like how the ingredients are very simple and it’s made in the USA. No added sweetness or fillers. All the ingredients are organic as well. Because it contains no added ingredients or other flavorings, the taste is somewhat earthy. It’s very mild compared to some other green mixes I’ve tried. It should blend well in flavored shakes without imparting too much flavor change.I would like to see a more complete nutrition profile. All these greens should contain other nutrients such as naturally occurring magnesium. I don’t see these listed on the label. This would help make sure I am meeting my vitamin goals.

Excellent greens powder to add to smoothies
This powder has an excellent combination of kale, wheat grass, and barley grass. All superfoods, and is organic, made in the USA, and third party tested. There are no additives or sweeteners. This is really an excellent product to add to one's daily diet. I first tried taking a tablespoon in a glass of cold water and it didn't taste as bad as I thought it might, but I definitely think it is better in a smoothie. It won't change the taste of the smoothie noticeably. At a one tablespoon serving there will be about 37 servings, or a little over a months supply in one bottle. So it is a bit on the expensive side, but it does seem like a quality product. I did refrigerate the opened bottle as suggested on the label, and I use it daily so will have it used up before the suggested two months after opening. Recommended for it's potential health benefits if it is in your budget.

I Am Not A Fan- I Thought This Was Freeze Dried Juice, Not The Whole Grass
I take wheatgrass, barley green or kale juice often all winter long. It is part of what I use to keep me going. I either do it fresh or dried. I thought that is what I was getting. I was wrong.JARThe jar is plastic and is sealed.SCOOPYou use the scoop to measure the powder into the glass.BLENDINGThis blends okay, but honestly it is like dried grass no matter how you look at it.FLAVORYuck. I don't like this. In order to use it up, I am adding wheatgrass or green barley powdered JUICE to it and it makes it tolerable to take.THE BOTTOM LINEI did not realize this was only going to be chopped plants. If I had known I would not have gotten it.MY RATINGTHREE STARS. This is okay for what it is. I prefer it to be juice minus the grass. I will use it up mixed with the juice powders, but I won't buy it again.

Very clean source of supergreens
As a citizen of Kansas, I was intrigued by the fact that Nature Restore's supplier has farms all over Kansas. Much of my diet consists of organic food from the Amish and Menonite farms here (plus what I grow organically). This is a blend of three nutritional powerhouses: kale, wheatgrass, and barleygrass (all organic). These are dried and finely powdered, so they mix will even without the use of a blender. Some greens supplements add flavorings, under the theory that people don't like the taste of vegetables. While that may be true of children, adults have typically outgrown this bias. That's because kids need more calorie-dense foods to support growth while adults are (by definition) grown and don't need the calories. Nature Restore doesn't add sweeteners or other flavorings, so this product tastes like kale and barleygrass with a hint of wheatgrass. Imagine that. If you find the taste a bit much, then don't make yourself a greens shake with this product. Instead, add it to something else. For example, toss half a scoop into a smoothie and then later in the day sprinkle half a scoop onto a meal (e.g., beans and rice) to add the nutritional power of these greens. What I like about this kind of supplement is I can take the whole tub with me on a car trip and have less worry about getting my nutritional needs met. Putting it into a baggie or sized-for-luggage container if you are traveling by plane, bus, or train also works. It's a little pricey, so if you don't mind ingesting arsenic, lead, and glyphosate (a powerful carcinogen and neurotoxin), you can opt for a cheap brand sourced in China. This product is grown organically (which means, among other things, no pesticides), then independently tested for heavy metals.
