Fun game for the older crowd
I had never heard of this game before. They call it Kubb, but it is actually a Swedish game called Mölkky. In fairly short order we had the rules down. Maybe the hardest is remembering the the number order to set the pins to start. Hint 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 on the left of the cluster and 2, 4, 6, 8 to the right, and 10, 11, and 12 in the center. After that, toss the throwing pin and have fun. Warning, it does require actual 3rd or 4th grade math skills, so if you frequently use the phrase "Math is hard"... well, this may not be for you. Younger kids (literally 3rd graders) weren't terribly interested in keeping score so they just tried to knock down the highest numbered pin.Fun game, particularly with good friends and good beer.

Fun Game For Outdoors
I love having a variety of outdoor games to play when we go camping or have backyard gatherings. It's especially fun when you can find one that most people haven't played before. This is the perfect game for that! I thought it was going to be a combination of bowling and Kubb (our family's favorite), but I was pleasantly surprised to find it more involved than bowling. Easy to learn, compact to carry, it makes the perfect game to take on the go! It was actually a lot smaller than I expected it to be, but that is a good thing for portability. The only concern I have is that within the first couple games I'd already noticed some small gouges in the pins as a result of hits from the baton. I wish it was made from a stronger wood that wouldn't gouge as easily, but the trade-off for that would be added weight. The carry case is good quality, with easy carry handles and a zipper top. The zipper sticks a little on the corners, so it's kind of difficult to open. Once you get it out and set up, though, it is a really fun game for the whole family! It will definitely be one that stays in our regular rotation of outdoor games!
