Bought 2 of the Sotion Super HD 960P to replace my TrendNet cameras that were starting to become flaky. I was very surprised and pleased that the Sotions provided so many features at a very reasonable price. The PC software worked perfectly, easy to get the cameras up and running on all my PCs. I did have problems with the app on my phone. It turned out after communication with customer support that the problem was ME. I didn't follow their very clear instructions that came with the camera. When I did follow the install instructions everything worked great! I want to give a big 5 star rating for Sotion's support folks. I sent an email to them on a Sunday, a holiday Sunday, and got a response in less than 2 hours with clear instructions on what to do to fix my problem. They also provided a phone number and contact to call if I needed additional help. I'm really impressed with the Sotion camera and their support team.

We love our new baby monitor!!! Amazing picture! I love the convenience of being able to turn my phone on at any time to see my daughters room. You can also turn on the motion detector so it alarms you if something moves! Which is pretty cool i usually set the motion detector when wet are gone for the day or weekend and it's a great security camera as well@

Update: After a week of use, I can say this is WAY better then the first camera I tried. (From a different company) It has not lost its connectivity one single time and the picture and camera movement is top notch. Definitely buying more for my house.Second camera I bought to keep an eye on my dogs. The first one from Vimtag was horrible. Only lasted a few months before it stopped working and, right out of the box, it disconnected everyday. This camera was a little difficult to set up as it wouldn't connect to the wifi after three tries so I had to connect it directly to the router to set up the wifi. After that, it's worked like a charm. Hopefully it lasts much longer then my previous attempts with other manufacturers. Hasn't gone offline once so far.

I really do love this camera. The free app makes it very easy to observe your child from your phone, tablet, etc. The options for sound and night vision are also an added bonus.The two main con's that I have found include that there is no "off" button for the camera. So if it is plugged in it is "recording". I wish that you could turn the camera off with the app but we have to unplug it every time our child wakes up and then plug it back in when we want to use it. This is certainly a "first world problem" but none-the-less I really hope they can update the app so that you can turn the camera on/off.The other main con is that the app itself could be a little more functionable. It seems a little "old" as far as software. However, it does the job.For the price it is certainly a good deal as many other cameras with apps are in the hundreds of dollars. Just has a couple tweaks that would take it from a 3.5 star to a 5 star (I rounded up to 4 stars since half stars aren't options).

This actually works not too bad - besides the fact that it goes offline constantly (not a router issue, we did check).I'm putting a one star so someone else in a similar situation makes sure to use the sd card. We had to buy a camera to catch some eating issues on film of our autistic son since we have a non-helpful school district. There is NOT a way to get the videos out of the app. The seller was kind enough to answer just show them from your device. Problem with that is I now need to make an appointment with individual staff members and two attorneys' firms at $250 an hour to look at my stupid iPad. In the meantime, we're praying the app doesn't fail at keeping the video files. So if you decide on this camera, you might want to make sure that sd option is set up and that it doesn't constantly go offline! (We were in a time constraint and figured video could be pulled easily.)

This is really really awesome.This sotion video camera easy to use and delivers data like video& audio lively which is superb but little delay is there which is manageable.Easy installation and it has night and daytime video quality.It has LED light ON/OFF option which is like black & white or colourful images.I akways prefer light off which shows image clearly than with light on.It has BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST adjusting option which works good.It has audio on/off option and left/right and up/down image adjusting option.These are all very very useful.The very interesting one is it has microphone as mentioned,through that we can speak to the baby from where we are.The audio quality is good but while accessing microphone it delivers audio in low volume but audible.It has snapshot and video recording option both are awesome.Image quality is really good and working good at night time too.The mobile app is very very useful.Totally i love this and i would recommend to every new mommyMy only concern is it is often disconnected and sometime it takes about 3-5 minutes to reconnect.After one month of use this problem happens very often that's why i gave 4 star

This WiFi camera is genuinely surprisingly good. It was a cinch to configure on to my home WiFi network and has worked flawlessly since installation. It has genuine night vision and motion detection, picture and video recording, two-way audio and comes with a companion app which is very easy to navigate. If you're looking for a home WiFi based security camera you shouldn't need to look any further.
