Sturdy plastic pockets into which the slides fitted snugly. Ignore those negative reviews; I deliberately shook the sheets full of slides mounted in frames and they stayed put. Well packaged by seller, came quickly.

Perfect for storing my 35mm slides

I wanted to transfer my slide collection from boxes, which are not very space efficient, to sleeves, so I could save space and also see my slides easily on a light box without the hassle of pulling them out one by one from their old storage boxes. These sleeves do the job very well. I was slightly put off by some reviewers saying these sleeves are flimsy and certainly other sleeves that I've used in the past have been more substantial but often at the expense of viewing clarity. These sleeves are completely transparent and so the view when seen on a light box is not impaired at all. For that reason I give them 5 stars. The only place their flimsiness counts against them in my opinion is when turning the sleeves in a ring binder when, if the sleeve catches on the ring (as often seems to happen, especially if trying to turn several pages at once), they can tear very easily, so a bit more reinforcement around the ring punch holes would have been useful.

The first time I purchased these (in a 12 pack). They were excellent and a great way of storing my slide collection. However the second time I decided to purchase a larger 24 pack and was very disappointed to see they were much thinner. It’s a shame to see a reduction in quality. But they are still useable at least.

My old slides have all been in sturdy slide sleeves for decades. Now that I am finally going through them all (thousands) and sorting them, I find it very hard to take them out of their stiff, sturdy sleeves without ripping the sleeves apart or hurting my fingers in the process... These sleeves here are, even though not as sturdy, perfect to easily put in and remove slides again, which is important for me.
