Simple to replace. Unscrew the screw, tug off old handle (slight resistance from corrosion), tap on new handle (slight resistance due to old corrosion), screw the old screw back in. Voila!Hardest part was counting how many points were on the old spigot to figure out which handle I needed.

Good replacement handle for my outdoor hose bibb. Fits perfectly on the 12-spline round shaft, using the existing screw (since no screw was included with the handle). Four stars instead of five because the handle is much lighter weight than a similar, older handle on one of my other hose bibbs, indicating that the metal might not be as substantial or strong as it used to be. That said, the new handle works quite well, and I just ordered another one for my daughter’s house.

I could not find this at any hardware store in town. Took a bit of a gamble ordering it, but it turned out to be an exact replacement for my broken handle, right down to the color. Should have ordered it on Amazon in the first place and saved some gas.

Sturdy and fits snuggly.

First of all, unless you have an exact match already, DO NOT but this one. Of all things, the fact that this came without a screw to install, made a 2 minute job into over an hour. Fortunately, or unfortunately, the screw for the handle I had was too long. Cutting it down to the correct length without damaging the mating threads is more involved than one would think. For the price, it is reasonable to expect at least one screw and in reality 3 of different lengths would not be too much to ask.The spline did fit properly on my 12 point round spigot. The handle itself is not as beefy as I would of thought given other reviews and the premium price, but compared to some of the cheap ones out there it is a little better. The spline stripped out on my last replacement within a short time. I'll see how this one turns out.

After 5 tries this one WORKED!! They never tell you there are only 2 types round or square. They never tell you "Yes, you can use a wrench to turn the water off and on before you find a replacement BUT you risk stripping the integral part of the spigot that the knob attaches too." So on the 5th try I found the round one that fit!! My only problem was it did not come with a screw. That would have been perfect!

Replaced a broken outdoor spigot knob. Fit just right and was super easy to replace. Make sure you check your spigot to determine the proper replacement.
