It does come unlocked, but I can't recommend. Had to replace two ulephones, the last one (8) frequently shuts down or hangs up without notice "apps not responding", the fingerprint sensor rarely works. Not surprisingly, they're made in China. You get what you pay for.

just get a $2 US adapter. Or, you can use a US charging block from another phone. Also, the cable can plug into a USB port into your computer or laptop to charge.
