Honestly this is the best dustpan and brush set I've ever owned. Sturdy quality metal pan that has the perfect lip for sweeping dirt into, doesn't get stuck like the plastic and rubber ones do. The brush is stiff but not too much which is perfect for sweeping.

A superbly crafted piece of equipment that will last a lifetime. Made in a British factory this is vastly superior to the non-recyclable plastic items shipped from the other side of the world: China. If you care about your environmental impact and want something that will not need regularly replacing, this dustpan and brush is well worth thirteen quid.

This dustpan is excellent because it doesn’t have a lip so it is very easy to get stuff brushed into it. Although it’s metal it’s not heavy. Easy to use, brush is stiff and hard wearing.

We're animal hoarders so our house is an uninhabitable flea-pit, with carpets lost beneath layers of Podenco hair and cat fluff and grit and masticated ribs from long forgotten barbecues, pine needles from pre-Covid Christmas trees, soot sneezed in by the fireplace, bits of glitter and fragments of Lego from when the kids were small, Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, mouse droppings, etc. Naturally we live in fear of having to let anyone into this squalid hell hole but occasionally it can't be avoided, and nuking it from orbit is not yet an option. So we fire up the trusty vacuum cleaner, only to find the bag it came with is still full, so none of those matted cat hairs will move. That's when you need a dustpan and brush. The plastic ones are not up to the challenge. That's why we invested in this metal beast, the Torquemada of dustpans, which hopefully will lead us into a new epoch of domestic orderliness and comfort.
