Ok, not great bottle holder
I did not like this cup/bottle holder. The pictures suggest that the cup holder is solid. It came in a box that is two inches thick, which is a big clue. The cup holder part is some kind of fabric, not plastic. There are rubberized tabs at the top to hold the water bottle in, but you have to slide them around the ring to make them equidistant, and there's nothing to hold them in place. It comes with two clamps and two screws, plus a few non-slip pads that you attach to the inside of the clamps. (They have self-stick on one side.) It includes a hex wrench for the screws. You put the two clamps on each end of the tube to which you are clamping them, and put the screws through the clamps. Oh, you have to also put one of the screws through a hole in the side of the cup holder first. And, one of the clamps is threaded and the other isn't, so you have to put the threaded clamp on the bottom.Got that? Not very simple, and not very easy to do. You may need to have a friend help you with the installation, unless you happen to have a third hand or a prehensile tail. I had to partially assemble the side next to the cup holder first, keeping it a bit loose, then attach the clamp to the horizontal bar and screw in the other side before tightening the side next to the cup holder. It didn't fit very snug when I installed it, so it would have a tendency to tilt. Since the cup holder is fabric, you can't support it by mounting it against a vertical bar.The clamp might work for a bike's handlebars, if the bar is of the right diameter, but it will not work for other sizes and it will not work for a wheelchair that has a flat armrest as opposed to a round tube. Also, it won't work for a vertical bar because you can't change the orientation.Since I was looking for a cup holder for my power wheelchair, this cup holder is a miserable failure.
