Avoid Sram flattop!
First ride on this new chain I broke an outer link, totally unacceptable. On this same ride a buddy also broke an outer link on his GX flattop chain, his chain is maybe 6 months old with modest miles on it at best. Previous chain (same spec) came with my bike and it lasted 18 months before breaking an outer link and then an inner link shortly after. My e-bike is an SL and doesn't have the high torque of full power e-bikes and I'm breaking links so frequently. Sram and Shimano chains on my previous (analog) bikes have lasted much longer than these flattop chains. I'm giving it 2 stars only because it works well enough however durability is the absolute worse of any chain I've owned in the last 7 years. If at all possible, no more Sram flattop drive trains for me
