I found a physical installation to be pretty straightforward. Some have noted the instructions may be a little bit confusing. You do need the included SIM card pin to separate the doorbell from its bracket. A micro SD card can be inserted in the bottom. The charging port is on the side. These can only be accessed when the device is separated from the bracket. When the camera is on, it will alarm when separated from the bracket unless you depress the red button on the back of the camera. I suggest fully charging it before installation. But battery life seems good (weeks to months). Loading the software and attaching the device to your Wi-Fi is also pretty straightforward. Note the the camera uses 2.4 GHz frequency. So, if you have a dual band router (2.4 & 5), you may need to know how to temporarily disable 5 GHz during the installation. You will also need an AC USB power supply to charge the doorbell and for the inside chime as one is not included.Good day and night image quality. The edges will be a bit distorted due to the wide angle view.There is a slight delay between motion detection and recording which is typical of motion sensing cameras. I also noted that the in-house chime rings before the on-door chime.Notifications to the phone work well.Dzees Customer Service is very responsive answering questions and assisting with registering the warranty.

I installed Dzees security camera before, which was good. Then I ordered this video doorbell. After using for couple of time I found this one is really a good doorbell at this pricePros:1. Installation is super easy. Also I wasn’t allowed to drill but this doorbell comes with 3m sticker which is enough to hold it perfectly on the door2. Video quality is pretty good, has HD mode too.3. When someone rings the bell, not only you will get a call from the bell but also you can get notifications from their app and check from there, it has two way communication option too directly from the app.4. They offer various ringtone too. Funny that they have a nokia ringtone haha.Cons:The instruction manual has a mistake regarding chime synchronisation. It showed the sync button is on the front but it is on the side. May be you need to press two of side buttons at once to sync, i am not sure how i did it. After couple of pressing it synced.Overall it is a very nice functional doorbell. Love it.

My doorbell cam has been installed for less than a week, so I can only report my experiences so far.1) The video quality is really good, both night and day. I have the movement sensitivity set to high, and it's not recording the movements of trees, windchimes and such. It is only picking up people and vehicles, and doing this well.2) There is a bit of a lag for the camera to start recording, and again to receive the notification. My camera records cars driving past my house, and some recordings only get the tail end of the car as it exits the viewable area. I've had a few (not many) recordings where there was no movement to see. However, as this is mainly a doorbell cam, it does the job it's meant to do. If someone comes up the walkway and onto the porch, I'm notified.3) Setup was fairly easy. However, the wedge that's supplied, at least in my case, was not the correct one, as the screw holes did not line up. It's plastic, so I just drilled a hole where it was needed, and the rest of the install was super easy. Be careful to not screw in too tightly, or the screw will bypass the screw holes, due to it being just plastic. A metal bracket would be a better option. The theft alarm is a plus. It's pretty loud, as I found out unexpectedly....4) BEWARE - Do NOT enable the theft alarm if you are just setting up the app and haven't installed the cam yet! I accidentally did this, and could not shut off the alarm without removing the camera from the app. Of course, adding it back again, the alarm immediately started back up, but it was smothered under a pillow until I could finish the app setup and turn it off. The app directions are much more thorough than the paper directions, but without setting up the app, you won't figure this out until it's too late. If I had known how this worked ahead of time, I would have attached the mounting bracket to the camera to turn it off. It makes no sense that this setting is part of the initial app setup.5) Having the SD storage is a plus. I don't need to pay cloud fees. The only frustration about this is that activity zones can't be set up without the monthly fee.6) Battery life - So far, Wow. Six days in, on the HD setting, with about 30 recordings a day in addition to occasional live views, my battery is currently at 99%.For this price, you can't expect all the bells and whistles, and overall, this camera works really well. I'm still tweaking settings, but there's nothing to report that's a deal breaker. If you don't want to drop a bunch of $$ for one of the big brands, this is an affordable option.

This little camera is great. I can see it all! Clear crisp view, at day and night I love the notifications I choose not to use the chime but if someone presses my doorbell it calls my phone like a phone call and when I answer it it just pulls up the live recording of a person being at my door! I love that feature! This little camera is great I don’t know what others are complaining about if you’re having issues nine times out of ten it’s user error

Love the price, value. Easy to use!!! You can only add five cars to the known. But, overall didnt stop me from buying more products.

I got this one based on the recommendation of my friend. The price point was great so I expected more but was disappointed. Installation was easy but the wedge piece did not align with the back of the unit so I had to make a piece to accomplish fitting it at an angle. Set up was relatively easy. But the lag between motion detection and recording was long, no matter setting the sensitivity to high. Overall disappointed and returned the unit. I will spend the money for a better rated unit.

Seriously impressive bit of kit. Have been using it for over 3 months now and has only had to be charged once. Very simple to use and good quality item without the need for a subscription service as you can put an sd card in it. Would recommend 👌

Je n’étais pas sûr que la sonnette capte mon wifi lors de la commande mais malgré les 20m, le pilier, le mur, cela passe très bien. Ergonomie sympa, l’appli est également facile à utiliser.Si je devais indiquer un bémol, je dirais la sensibilité du capteur. Je suis dans une rue avec pas mal de passage et je reçois une alarme à chaque passage détecté. J’ai mis la sensibilité la plus basse pourtant. Il ne reste après que la coupure du capteur en solution

Thought I'd give this a go given its pretty cheap compared to some of its competitors. Its relatively easy to install, you will need an SD card but you have the choice of screwing it to an external wall, or using supplied 3M tape to stick it to a flat surface. Seperating the doorbell from its holder requires using a pin like tool, but was relatively straight forward and you'll find the charge port and power button under some weather proof covers.Download the app, adjust your settings and away you go. So far its done everything we'd wanted, with no fuss.
