I don’t know what “sheerness” means in the context of a guitar pedal but I still gave it a five because this one is so good. It’s a better buy than the mini version because if the mid/ mud frequencies eq. Its like an input conditioner for massaging the guitar’s signal into the rest of the chain. The switchable buffer sounds excellent, the eq has quickly become indispensable to me and the gain goes from a hint of hair to a lovely overdrive. This version also has more tasteful graphics than the previous one imho. The only bad thing I can say is that the buffer switch should not have been on the side, since it is easily pushed on/ off by the previous pedal on a cramped board.

The 3-band EQ makes this pedal very nice - worth every penny.
