Excellent flavor, broad set of richness/boldness and good value
My wife and I were commenting how hard it is to get a good coffee pod for a Keurig. On a whim we ordered this set of 5 boxes each containing 10 Keurig pods. We've tried them all and love them all. Two of the boxes have flavoring which, in general, we steer away from. I add creamer to black coffee, but I've found that flavored coffees can be too overpowering with regard to flavor. That is not the case with either of these flavors. Both the caramel flavored and the "notes of fruit" flavor are very subtle. In fact, I added a little vanilla caramel creamer to the caramel flavored coffee and absolutely loved it. The other three boxes range from the "mild and balanced" CLASSICO box of 10 to the "full bodied" INTENSO box of 10 to the "rich and strong" FORTE box of 10. All three are wonderful. For me the Intenso and Forte take a little more creamer, but the smooth after taste is there for both of them. There is not at all an acidic taste with any of these coffees. I enjoy the Intenso or Forte in the morning and Classico in the afternoon. I've mixed the afternoon up with one of the flavored as well. If you're looking for a good Keurig pod, give these a try. I highly recommend them.

Illy is one of the best
This Italian company is one of the most reliable commercial coffee producers in the world, and it's Italian roast coffees are excellent. The only drawback with this assortment is that the Colombian coffee is a little on the light side -- still very tasty but but not up to what I expect. The other coffees are excellent..

Great selection of various different levels of roast
Forte Extra Bold Roast:The first part of the taste is a good splash of very dark roast with a good aftertaste. This aftertaste is hard to get right and this is a good one. When I breathe out through my nose I get a good smell of it again, which is quite nice - it must be very strong.Classico Classic Roast:This is a very good medium roast, extremely close to the perfect middle point between what I would consider a dark roast and a light roast. Usually medium roasts are a little darker or a little lighter than "true medium" but this is actually true medium.Intenso Bold Roast:Wow this is super dark roast! It has a deep, dark chocolate taste and it's impressively dark without being bitter.Arabica Selection Columbia:There is a Earthy flavor and smell to this one, and it appears to be a bit darker than medium but not by much.Arabia Selection Brasile:Like the Columbia one this one is Earthy but slightly darker - just ever so slightly.

GREAT Coffee, Even in a Pod!
I’ve never been a coffee snob, just always thought “this is good” or “this is bitter, so I’ll add more cream”. But at the first sip of illy, I could taste the difference.I prefer a lighter roast and my husband prefers a dark roast, so the “Peaceful Squirrel” collection suits us both. We like our Keurig for the convenience, but the flavor often suffers. We both agree there’s no bitterness, just smooth coffee flavor. I like to make pour-over coffee on weekends when I’m not in a hurry, so I plan to splurge and pick up a container of illy whole beans. I have no doubt that’ll be amazing.I appreciate the recyclable pods which are #5 PP, and the thin cardboard recyclable box. The $1.20 per pod is certainly pricey compared to many other brands but the flavor of the coffee makes up for it. I’d give illy 10 stars if that was an option, lol. I highly recommend every coffee connoisseur give illy a taste. You won’t regret it!

Excellent collection of varieties, illy quality even with a K-cup
These make having a K-cup machine almost worth it. I admit that I'm a coffee snob, and most K-cups just don't work for me.First, when I've cut K-cups open, there is typically about 10 grams or less of coffee in that pod. I use 18 grams to 5 ounces of water when I brew a cup of coffee. A K-cup cup, depending on the manufacturer, uses 6-8 oz of water per cup, so the coffee, at 10 g to 6 oz, is weak for me.I don't know what Illy does, i.e., if it's how they roast or if the beans are better, but I can (using a Keurig) use one of these K-pods for one small cup, and using the extra strong setting, get a very nice cup of coffee out of the machine.Review of: Peaceful Squirrel Variety of illy Coffee Pods

WHERE'S THE COFFEE?
OUT OF ALL THE FLAVORS IN THID VARIETY OF ILLY COFFEE, THERE WAS JUST NO DECENT COFFEE TASTE. MAYBE IT WAS OLD AND STALE, BUT I HAD ILLY BEFORE OVERSEAS AND IT WAS GOOD COFFEE. NEVER AGAIN.
