Super easy to set up, could easily be done by 1 person. We used at beach, can be used anywhere really, as long as you have something to put in the weight bags. Poles are sturdy, quick set up and tear down. Excellent design. Best part is that it all folds up small enough to take along in a checked bag or as it's own carry-on. We're really very happy we got this.

After reading the other reviews, here's my two cents worth... It really does look like the pictures as advertised. It really is very easy to set up, even by one person. The blue things that you screw into the sand to hold the poles didn't do anything for me. In fact, if it gets windy, you will want to move the base of the poles for stability - really easy without the blue thingys. That all being said, I don't recommend for wind steadily over 15 -20 MPH or gusty. We spent a week in Nags Head, NC (the Outer Banks), known for being windy, and I had concerns on 2 of the days, and took down a little early. Some other more traditional canopies seemed to withstand with less concern. But they don't offer as much shade! We had a party of 8, and the shade was very ample. Oh, and it may have an SPf of 50, but it's not waterproof.

This tent is great!! And much easier to set up than i figured it would be. Set up with in about Five mIn. We are people who vaction a few times a year, on the beach and this was a game changer. Gives you great shade, very roomy unlike an umbrella. And Being able to carry this in a small bag is even better! Very light Weight. Very happy with this purchase.
