Build quality is great, do not trust the digital thermometer
Great build and brings everything you need. The one downside is that the company should either use a better digital thermometer or not include one at all. Readings were off by 5 to 6 degrees.

Great but low quality wood
Works good for chicks upto 10 untill 3 months, after that to small. Quality of wood is flimsy, but does the job for the price.

Crappy instructions
I didn't like having to go online for the instructions. When I did it was a fast short video. I figured it out. It worked but didn't take long for the handle to break. Luckily the chicks were ready for the coop. Also the pads are not good for chicks legs. It should specify for beginners, such as myself, that a rubber mat should be used to prevent splayed legs which one of mine got. We were able to fix her with online assistance. The pads are good for under the mat if that. Not a bad product but I wouldn't recommend it. A dollar store bin and feed store red light will do

Great for quail
Hatching more than I thought I would so I will likely need another box! This was a little tricky to install just a first but there’s a video (QR code in packaging) that helps. Don’t be afraid to use a little wiggle and force for install. Fits like a puzzle then you reinforce with screws. For the price it works well. Light is great - install it more in the middle - on day 2 of using it and it’s great. Retains heat and easy to plug in. My kids can watch the birds bc of the plastic door so it’s really great.

Major design flaw
While it's cute and held my 25 quail for the first couple days, the humidity levels in the brooder were through the roof, fogging the window, and drenching the birds' feathers. When I transferred them to another brooder, they looked like they had never been dry from hatch. This is a major design flaw and could possibly be rectified with additional ventilation holes or replacing the window with hardware cloth. I don't plan on finding out, it went in the trash.

Amazing Product & Even Better Customer Service
I couldn’t be more satisfied with this product and the customer service was exceptional. When my product first arrived the light bulb got damaged from shipping but I contacted them and they sent me 2 bulbs and 2 dimmers that work perfectly. They will help with whatever you need and my chicks are already in the brooder which shows the temp and humidity perfectly so I can regulate the environment well. You won’t regret this purchase if your looking for a good chick brooder.
