I was very curious to try this stuff because I’ve been suspecting that I have a lot of buildup on my scalp because of how quickly my hair would become oily after washing it. I looked into a lot of products, and i am SUPER paranoid to put stuff in/on my hair, so i hesitated but bit the bullet and purchased this. I waited until my hair was quite oily and wanted to see how well this product worked if i used it alone and wow! I wet my hair and it was so oily that i couldn’t comb my fingers through it, but i poured this stuff on my head in sections (like above my ears in a line, from temples to back and then center top) and rubbed it in. It was confusing because the product comes out like water, but it lathers up when you scrub! It has a strong peppermint smell almost, but nothing that bothered me, in fact it was kind of refreshing and i have read that peppermint oil is good for stimulating your scalp and encouraging hair growth. I tested a patch of hair first to see if my hair would agree with the product and if i was allergic to anything, so i poured a little on a patch of hair behind my ear at first and nowhere else, and waited a couple of minutes. I’d recommend doing that for any hair product honestly. After a couple minutes i noticed it didn’t burn or cause extreme shedding or make my hair shrivel up so i went ahead with putting it everywhere. Within seconds i was able to easily comb my fingers through my hair as if it just melted away the oil?! It was crazy. I scrubbed all over and tried to be gentle, whenever i use my fingers instead of a shampoo brush i have a little more shedding than normal so I’m going to attribute the slight increase in shedding to that. It was hard to tell how much was in my hair because it feels like nothing, but i got used to that. I added a little more to my hands here and there if i was unsure. I rinsed it out and lingered to make sure it was all out, and then wrapped my hair for a little while i did my after shower stuff and then blow dried(cold air, just the roots) it as normal and my hair was SO clean! It got rid of all of the oil, my hair was just lifted and free flowing like a weight had been lifted off and my hair sat very nicely! It’s even parting better.I used to have to wash my hair every 3 days and by the 3rd day it was just too gross to let anyone even see me lol, but i have so far gone 4 days with it still looking and feeling clean! Important to mention that it did not leave my hair feeling stripped or dry at all, and the peppermint oil made my scalp feel faintly cool like minty gum, but i liked that. My hair felt soft and healthy the whole time and was never made to feel like it was over washed. I’m very happy with this! I might even use it instead of shampoo since i had such a good result and believe me, not having a time limit of 2 1/2 days of getting to be in public without having to wash my hair is such a relief. I have more time to do other things instead of worrying about how my hair feels/looks. On the 4th day, i can still move my fingers through my hair easily! Love love this stuff.I did have slightly more shedding on the right side of my head, but nothing concerning, or extreme. After i blow dried my roots, the slight shedding stopped. It could be due to my scrubbing and not the product. I have noticed that every time i switch my shampoo product that my hair will shed a little more than normal for the first couple of washes before going back to normal, so it’s probably not the products fault. I’ll come back to give updates if anything changes!

Perfect for in between wash days! It never seems to strip my hair or color, and makes my hair feel so so soft! The smell takes a bit of getting used to (and don’t get this in your eyes!!) but it feels amazing on my scalp and gets the grease out if I haven’t shampooed in a few days. I’ve purchased two bottles now and they each last about 6 months!

When I need to really cleanse my dry scalp that has build up. This really gets the job done and condition your hair partially. You only need a little bit and I know I will have it fir over a year since I use it occasionally. Very impressed of it.

This is a great rinse! It’s really clean and leaves my hair soft and shiny. I was hoping there might be more products in their line - I’ll be keeping an eye out for more.

I like how this rice water vinegar rinse feels on my scalp and hair. It cleanses and leaves my hair feeling soft and manageable. The only downside is the smell; it’s not pleasant, and it lingers a bit. Also, be careful not to get it on your face because it can be a little irritating. Overall, it’s a nice addition to my hair care routine, especially between shampoos, but I wish the scent was milder.

Really good product for sure. I had some dandruff decently bad and def helped with that problem. Def recommend to try if you have that problem.

been trying a lot of hard water shampoos, hair masks, and other products to try to restore my wavy hair ever since having to use a shower with hard water. i have thick wavy hair and this has been a nightmare to fix. this is the first product I've used that has actually made an immediate difference and brought my fluffy bouncy waves back from being limp and straight. hearing others recommend an ACV rinse I wasn't too thrilled about the possibility of smelling like vinegar but this product as others have mentioned has a deeper minty scent without the pure tang of vinegar. the price of this product is worth it for me as I've never experienced an immediate result with a hair product like this especially for treating hard water damage. can't speak for the long term effects yet but would be amazing to see hair growth as hair loss has also been a side effect of hard water for me. overall I'm really happy to actually see a product with results. my hair actually feels clean for the first time in a while.

This product promises to clean your scalp and therefore encourage healthy hair growth and texture. For years I've tried changing my haircare formula because it was always breaking, damaged, and dull. I read ingredients carefully, I'm gentle drying my hair, I use hemisqualine to reduce frizz and protect it from heat, I add leave-in conditioners, I avoid washing my hair too often, I try not to flat iron or blow dry, and I changed hairbrushes. Hydrating products made my hair oily. Avoiding washes made my hair dry. My hair was still mostly unhealthy.I thought about it for a long time and felt that my hair didn't grow, but it became painfully obvious that it was growing...and breaking before I could add any length. Haircuts would remove the breakage but my hair wouldn't grow back. I needed rosemary, eucalyptus, and other ingredients to promote hair growth.Now it's too soon to say whether my hair is growing, but hear me out. My hair is so soft. I don't feel the need to constantly detangle it all day. My scalp feels so fresh. I like how shiny it looks in the mirror. My ends arent fried-looking from dehydration. And it has been a week.The added bonus: you can use this in place of shampoo and conditioner when you're "in between washes". (Note that it does not need to get sudsy in order to get clean.)For now, I'm still going to do most of my haircare routine but only once per week, and I'll use the rice water 1 - 2 times in between.Update: I'm now exclusively washing my hair with this and using product as needed. I only need to use it once a week.
