For Ghost Control
I used it for Ghost Control. I followed the instruction from the user review by Robert L. White. It was simple and easy. I thank him for the instruction which was not available from the seller or the manufacturer. It has working perfect for me since it was installed 12 months ago.

Works Perfectly with Mighty Mule M371W
pretty straight forward - just be sure to have 25ft away from the gate in the OPEN position (for swing gate). I have a 12' gate, so the 50' cable was perfect. It will be nice not having to walk out and trigger the gate when visitors leave the house!Installation was quick and easy. I did NOT use the included distance adjustment.

Defective product and can't return
I bought 2 of the exit wands and couldn't install them in the return time limit. One worked for 3 days and the other is still in the box and Amazon will not except them. You can't find the seller it goes back to Amazon. Can't believe Amazon sells junk that has no warranty

Not real sensitive
I’m not sure why this came with a sensitivity knob, as I’m pretty sure it doesn’t work. The description says 12’ sensitivity, but you have to almost next to it before it sends a signal to open.

Correct wiring instructions unclear and ambiguous
The media could not be loaded. The instructions did not show how to connect the device to a Ghost Controls gate opener, but I figured out the wiring by comparing the instructions that came with the wand to the instructions for a similar (but more expensive) sensor that Ghost Controls sells. See attached photo for an image of the wired wand. And just to prove it works, there's video of it opening.Blue- "Open" terminal. This terminal is second from the Left in the "Hardwired Inputs" connector.Black, Green and Green from "Range Adjustment Board"- COM terminal. This terminal is the farthest right on the "Hardwired Inputs" connector.Red- VCC+ terminal. This terminal is the farthest left on the "Lock" connector.Using a wire nut, connect the Yellow wire from the cable to the Yellow wire from the "Range Adjustment Board".That's it. I had to drill a hole in the box to the right of the strain relief so I could insert the cable from the sensor wand into the box. This is not shown in the photo above. The photo was from when I was testing the connection before I drilled a hole for the cable. From the video, you can see the trench that I dug parallel to the driveway from the post holding the Ghost Controls opener's control box. The trench is about 50' long and 12" deep. I put the cable inside a 3/4" conduit because the instructions for this device (and for other similar wands) said to do that. That adds an extra $50 at 2024 prices. But I could have easily used 1/2" conduit and saved $10. I suspect the cable would do just fine if it were buried (without conduit), but then you risk someone putting a shovel through it and you cannot splice these wires together again. You'd have to buy another unit. So the conduit is not a bad idea. Before buying, I asked here on Amazon if the instructions showed the correct wiring for a Ghost Controls gate opener. "Yes, dear" was the answer. Unfortunately, the instructions only show wiring diagrams for Giant Gate openers and even those are inconsistent.I am disappointed by the ambiguous wiring diagrams that come in the instructions and the fact that the seller misrepresented that the manual would contain Ghost Controls wiring instructions that it did not contain. But the wand itself works fine and is a convenience. It saves battery power from the gate opener remote controls by not having to use the remote on the way out. We just drive down the driveway past the sensor. But also, I don't have to be there when my guests or hired workers leave. The gate now opens automatically as they drive by.
