These are awesome and made installing 8 switches in each of 4 IDF rooms.

Very happy with these. Overkill for my home network rack, but this is the third approach I've tried and definitely prefer this. I went with this because it's all metal and some of my heavier devices were questionable with plastic studs that I had.

Great product except for the color of the nuts. I need to find out what thread size these are and get different ones. Not sure why they switched from silver to red, but ANY RED is bad in my IT racks. Red = trouble. Any other color is fine. Otherwise, great product.

I love these rack nut replacements!!! They save your finger, make racking switches much easier, and look great. The only problem with them I see is they only work with 1ru devices, wish they would develop something for 2ru items like rack fan panels.

I had a problem of snapping the plastic rack studs, so I tried these. These are aluminum and just feel so much more solid. So far no problems.

The patchbox /dev/Mount rack studs make me wish I never had to use cage nuts ever again (certain devices don't have every individual rack unit mounting holes). For everything else, these are the go to and super easy to use once you get into the habit.

I wish these had black or just uncoated silver coupling nuts. The only red I want to see when looking at my racks are when there are error lights.Also, the metal edges of the clips are surprisingly sharp. Careful.

The studs are quite thick. Works great for some equipment and other equipment it isn’t compatible with including some common shelves on amazon.Removing is a bit of a pain, slightly harder than removing cage nuts. I wish they’d include a small tool for the price.Not offering a single-peg version means these will only work for 1U devices and everything else will need a different mounting solution.Overall: very overpriced and not well thought through. They need to up their game if they’re trying to capture an enthusiastic high end market.
