I do not know what to say as my cat does not want it

Cats ate it if they had to but I wouldn’t order again , as I had a few bags and it wasn’t to their taste . However I didn’t throw it away so wasn’t a waste . Was good value and seemed good quality

My old cats used to love this. However, my new boy and next door neighbours cat (pops in on a regular basis) both weren’t keen. Had a food stand off for two days with my cat, he would not touch it !! Neighbours cat gave in first so I have one happy neighbour who has received a big bag of biscuits free.

I've been trying to find a palm oil free dry cat food since forever but up until this one my cats preferred kitty high Street brand junk food that's such an ethically poor choice for sustainability I always cringed buying it. They love this stuff though and its significantly better for them than what they were eating previously. Win win happy cats win!

The bag arrived opened slightly near the handles . There seemed insufficient glue to seal it. As it was opened I did not want to give it to my cats incase contamination had occurred .Check your bags before to you give the food to your cats . There may be little holes or slits or openings that have lead to contamination. I have had bags before ( not from Amazon) with small slits in them. There is clearly a need for Burns to address this packaging ( or storage?) problem. I also had 2more bags from a pet shop that had the same problem . Amazon did a good job in rapidly sending me a replacement. The replacement was good and was a different batch number.Burns cat food is generally very good product and I have been happy with it.The product would have got more stars were it not for this open seal problem .2nd APRIL 2018 UPDATE...I asked Burns customer care if they had fixed the poor seal/ glue problem and they said they are still using same bags / glue etc until they have been used up.I found this worrying.They have acknowledged glue inefficiency problem but they still say the cat food is still acceptable.I disagree.My concern is that bags of food MAY have very small unsealed bits that are big enough for contamination to occur but too small to be easily visible. If so i worry that contamination could occur with potential allergens including eg storage mites.If you don't want to risk the 2kg bag because of the potential inadequacy of the seal , it may help to know that you can 400g bags from Burns , that are in plastic packaging and are sealed differently. I hope Burns decide to fix the seal / glue problem .
