My husband owns and runs a remodeling business and is often in the sun 9 hours a day. It's difficult for him to wear sunscreen, because when he sweats it runs down his hands and makes it so he can't hold on to his tools well, even with the sweat proof sunscreens. And, there's also the having to reapply sunscreen every couple hours, which he never wanted to take the time to do, not to mention the weird orange staining it always left around the neck of his white t-shirts.However, with these UV shirts, it has made his job considerably more comfortable. He feels cooler with them on, as well. We like that they have a hood, because it protects his neck and ears, which would always be lobster red and blister, otherwise. When I bought them I really wasn't sure if he would use them, or not. But, he likes them a lot, and we both love that he's not getting burnt everyday! (He still gets a tan through them, though, because he's in the sun for so long. ) I really wish they had these 20 years ago! I bought enough so he has one for every day of the work week for the summers.As far as fit goes, he usually wears a medium shirt, but I knew these ran a little tight. I bought him the large and they fit him very well. They hug his big biceps, which looks great, but have just a little room around his not-as-fit stomach, without looking sloppy at all.

In the product's pictures, it appears one of them wearing the shirt while running, but in reality, it will fall off, making the hoodie useless for intensive activities.I was running on full sun with this shirt at a tropical climate, and it almost felt like I wasn't running in the sun!I hope to see the hoodie issue fixed soon!

this is a great product, it is light and it fits exaclty as I need. It feels soft and it does not get you hot.

Another solid purchase at a bargain price. I purchased this shirt for sun protection and a little warmth while backpacking or other outdoor activities. I'm 5'8 and 165 lbs and an athletic build. The shirt provides an athletic fit but is not too tight. The arm length has been fine for me - I have a Plus 0 "ape index" (that's a climbing term which means my wingspan is the same as my height). The hood is a bit large (I have a small head) but works just fine and provides a little warmth on cold mornings or during the night in my tent. Note, I'm bald so a little cover helps a lot. The sleeves area also pretty snug and I'm unable to roll them up at all. No worries since I'm aiming for sun protection. Oh, the I was pleasantly surprised at the thickness of this shirt, it was better than expected. While backpacking and sweating, the shirt did become fairly stiff when my salty sweat dried. Finally, and this is my fault, but there is very little stretch with this shirt. I would prefer more so in my next purchase, I'll choose one with 10-15% spandex rather than the 100% polyester that this one is. Overall, a great shirt for the money and very comfortable.

I bought a total of 6. Oklahoma 100 degree sunshine and a clear day can and will do damage to the skin. These are light enough with added UV blockage protection which help out a lot.
