Excellent product
Was quite sceptical on buying this product as i have been a webasto/ erbesbacher/ domotec tech installer for years but could not afford one for my own personal use . So i bought this product and to my suprise it works amasing . The heat output is enormous although its a 5 kw and not 8 kw but way more than enough to heat my van/ workshop front and back to a comfortable level in a matter of minutes including defrosting the windscreen at the touch of a button from the house via the remote ! As i live in scotland this is a highly desirable product and works extremely well at a fraction of the price .would not hesitate to purchase another one from this seller . Top product . Excellent design and fits the budget .

I’ve bought three of these for more or less continuous use through the winter.
I have been impressed with this little 5Kw diesel heater apart from the instructions which are hopeless.I use this to heat a static caravan rather than using electricity. This works out much cheaper!!!A few things to bear in mind if you’re fitting one of these.1. The thin plastic fuel pipe should be attached to the metal fuel inlet tube underneath by using only a short piece of black rubber pipe.I cable tie this to the air inlet pipe to make sure it never touches the exhaust. I used a stainless steel jubilee clip rather than the spring type clips to make sure I had no fuel leak!I have my diesel heater powered from a 12v battery with a Ctek battery maintainer to keep the battery fully charged at all times. If you have a power cut the diesel heater core can melt as its aluminium. The 12 volt power keeps the fan turning and the core cool!So having a large 120Ah battery gives you many hours use while you fix your power issues. If you’re buying fuel and off grid, buy your fuel in bulk! (1000 litres plus) Buy a bunded tank (tank within a tank) and half your fuel cost! I use kerosene rather than diesel with no problems. My first diesel heater has lasted 6 months with continual use, which is not what it’s designed for.But for £99 I don’t mind changing it twice a year considering I’m saving thousands of pounds in electricity costs. The exhaust does get very hot! If going through a combustible wall put a plate around the exhaust to keep it away from the actual wall. I’ve put the exhaust near my insulated water pipes to stop them freezing and it certainly helps. Remember to secure the pipes and exhaust down so they can’t touch! The thermostat on the diesel heater doesn’t cut the heat off, it slows the pump and fan to regulate heat.I found the customer service guys helpful when I had questions.I’m going to clean out my old heater and replace the fan which was the part that went faulty. It became noisy then stopped working and at that point it was replaced.Overall a very positive experience with these heaters! They save you a fortune and are comparatively easy to install but be careful.

A few issues 11months on
Everything was running just fine then the controller packed in so at the moment not able to use the heater. Am waiting for a reply regarding the warranty and a replacement controller. But other than this problem the heater was running ok and was quite happy with it. Only 2 stars for value as 1 year on the price has dropped by nearly £50.
