My LO is 16 months old. He's 32 inch tall and about 28 lbs. This poncho is ADORABLE, but there's no way this would fit my friends 3 YO or my son next year. It barely comes down past his pants. But, it will work this year to keep warm in the carseat and while being transfered. If you have a petite LO this is great.

Like the other reviewers mentioned, the neck on this thing is VERY small. We used this on our son for a couple days (he’s 4.5 months old) and it was not an easy process. I wanted to be able to slide it on and off his head, but that was not an option because it was too small.Also, I didn’t realize the zipper is upside down. So it starts at the neck and zips down. It would be better if it was a normal zipper so you could just unzip it a little and slide it off your babies head.Overall, giving this thing three stars because it is durable, soft and the fabric is nice! But functionally speaking, it is annoying to use so we will be returning it.

This poncho is advertised as 6 months to 3T, but it barely fits my 1 year old grandson. The head hole is so small, he squirms and whines when it is pulled over his head. The size on this should be only up to 9 months.
