Check the length and allow a few CM. !!
The case would appear to be OK in most respects but it's a pretty tight squeeze for my SIGMA "BMC ISTE" model. I don't know how other basses fair with the case but I was pretty careful on checking all of the requisite measurements and only just managed to squeeze the headstock into the length. For that reason I wouldn't want to leave it in there for any length of time.

Fitted my massive acoustic bass...just!
After buying numerous alledge acoustic bass guitar bags and none fitting my gear for music acoustic bass, found this one and was not sure it would fit when I laid it next to it, but it supprised me and fit, but only just. I am very happy to be able to transport it about now!

Excellent value. Functional, affordable but make sure you have a three-quarter size guitar
10mm padding is sufficient for when you're storing a guitar or transporting it in such a way that it isn't likely to be knocked or dropped. 25mm is better and a hard case would be best of all. BUT - having said all that, this is a good case for a THREE QUARTER SIZE GUITAR. I use mine with a Chord CSC35 as can be seen in the photo montage. The guitar measures just over 36" long by just over 13" across the lower bout and is just over 4" deep if you allow for the tops of the string pegs. It fits inside with ease but without a lot of wiggle room. Anything larger would not be suitable for this case. When it arrives, the case is folded and compressed inside its own strong box. To straighten it and ease out all the creases and folds in the outer skin, I put my guitar inside it, zipped it up with both fasteners at the headstock end and then hung the whole thing up for a few hours. That did the trick really well. The zip is strong and unlikely to fail. The front pocket is unfortunately not large enough for an A4 book. If it was 2" deeper it would be OK ... that's annoying as most tutor books are A4 size. The handles are bound and pretty comfortable. the seam can dig into your hand after awhile, but that's not a big problem. There are two removable straps if you want to sling it across your back.To summarise - this is a functional, very well made and affordable bit of kit to help you store, protect or move your THREE QUARTER SIZE guitar.

Big enough for my large electro-acoustic bass
This was the only bag I could find that was big enough for my large electro-acoustic bass. It is comfortable to wear. Just be careful when walking through doorways. The machine head is above head height.

Perfect protection & portability for a full size spanish classical guitar
My son walks to school where he has his guitar lesson. He needed a comfortable way to carry his guitar that is water resistant in the rain and was easy to carry (leaving him also able to carry his school bag). The shoulder straps are great, and can be made quite short even for a 10 year old to carry safely and securely on his back. For short distances - or hand holding there are 2 good soft strong handles. This carry bag is padded inside and so offers some protection to the instrument (a full size spanish classical guitar) as it is a snug fit so does not move around inside once zipped up.It is a soft case, so it cannot protect against big bangs! There are 2 nylon zips which go the full length of the guitar, so removal and packing are easy and avoid scratching the body of the instrument. The case is black with a red design so looks pretty cool and you can stick on reflective tape if you want to add visibility at night / in the dark. There is also a zip pocket big enough to carry a couple of thin music books (about A4 size fits fine)The bag is very lightweight and is perfect for everyday use.I have seen more expensive bags, which do not offer any more protection than this one - so it is a good value product, and I would recommend it to anyone with similar needs.Amazon Delivery - as always - excellent and timely.

Great gig bag -pity reviews of all sizes are mixed together
Initially I was sceptical about buying this gig case for my acoustic bass as the design measurements were either obviously wrong or hopelessly inaccurate. Multiple reviews of cases being too small or thin were a real concern. As it turns out, the case is ideal for the acoustic bass even though sold as (I think) a large jumbo 12 string case when going through the check out. Plenty of room from headstock to body with ample space for a lead in the outside pocket. It comes in a very small box so needs your bass to live in it for a while to make it straighten out sufficiently.

Seems very good quality, carry handles and straps are really good
Ok, my first guitar case, but I'll have a crack at a review :) . Seems very good quality, carry handles and straps are really good. Bought my guitar second hand and the seller said it was a "standard size" not sure of make or anything I'm afraid, but it fits in this case perfectly. Padding seems sufficient to protect it whilst carrying, don't know if it'd be enough to protect it from a drop or anything, but the odd slight knock should be protected, but don't quote me on that :p .Don't think it's advertised as shower proof, but seems like it'd offer some very mild water protection, again best to avoid rain with it, but nice that it seems it could at least offer some protection, again don't quote me on that :p . It's a good price and should suffice for most people, I don't live far at all from where I practise, so is perfect for me,only reason I think you'd need a sturdier case is if you were travelling for longer, if the case was more likely to get bumped...don't think I'd trust this case to protect my guitar on a plane for example, or if you were caught in rain heavier than a light shower I wouldn't want to risk it. So overall for most people this should be the perfect case, if you plan on travelling about a lot with it/for long periods of time it might be worth just getting a hard case.
