Incredibly useful
Where have you been all my life. One of the best tools I now own, blister packs are no longer a game of Russian roulette. With this the chances of the packaging deciding to bite you are long gone. Great for cutting up large cardboard boxes. Had an item that came in a 2M x 1M box was definitely easier to cut it up with this than try to fold it or rip it up by hand.

Great for quick cutting cardboard to smaller pieces.
I use a lot of cardboard in composting, and this helps to cut brown Amazon boxes to smaller pieces before shredding them in my paper shredder. I love this tool, it helps me transform waste cardboard into fluffy compost much quicker. I love this, and my composting worms in my "Dalek bin" love tiny cardboard bits.

Good and bad.
Firstly, please pay no attention to the reviews that say its cheaply made and poor quality. It is of the same high quality i have come to expect from Ryobi. What else can i say about it? Well it works but it works slowly. So slowly in fact that if you are regularly breaking down a lot of boxes it would become frustrating very quickly. I think this is much better suited to jobs like upholstery or other crafts where a very clean cut is required and speed is not a consideration. It struggled a bit cutting down the amazon boxes and gave up altogeather on the Ryobi packaging, you need to break the boxes flat before it will cut so you may as well just tear them to bits manually. Is it worth nearly £80? Not of my money it isnt.

If you have arthritis & cut lots of boxes for your recycling bin, it's a must
I know it's not a cheap tool but it has made cutting boxes(which we do every day) super easy and fast. It's been a life saver for my mum who has arthritis. She absolutely loves this thing. Pressing the button takes getting use to but once you find your technique it's way easier to cut boxes than a box cutting knife or scissors.

Ryobi power cordless cutter
Like a lot of people I have a lot of packaging I try to cut up so i can put it in my compost bin. But spending time cutting boxes up by hand is hard on the hands. So I bought this Ryobi power cutter to help and I have just used it to cut a large Amazon box that had a small item in and I have to admit i was impressed, it cut through the box so fast and easily. This comes with a 2.0Ah battery but I bought an extra 3.0Ah battery as well. One to use and one to charge. I have a few Ryobi tools and so far i have been impressed.I am very happy with this power cutter, however I thought the price was a bit high, especially when you can buy other power cutters for less price.

Amazing little tool
Always found it difficult cutting up large boxes to recycle, this tool is perfect for that and makes it a breeze, a little pricey but well worth the money.

Is it worth it?
If you have a lot of cardboard boxes and a small recycling bin then it's definitely worth it,BUT Is it worth the price? Personally No it feels cheap and tacky but it dise the job so can't complain, It does cut carpet & rugs as well but If you force it through it will not work, you kind if got to let it cut at its speed but it dose do clean & straight cuts
