Q: Is this bowl suitable for making popcorn on the stovetop?

I would say no. It’s not really heavy and I would think it would burn the bowl. I use it for a dog’s water bowl and it’s perfect for that or mixing. A heavy Dutch oven would be better for popcorn. Hope this helps.

Q: Anyone know how to clean an oil stain on this bowl? (I think salad oil) - my partner left it out for a week with oil on it and I cannot get it off!

There is such a thing as laundry soda, similar to baking soda but still different. Amazon sells it. Arm and hammer laundry soda for $4.52. It’s more than a laundry booster, it cleans silver, brass, jewelry, pots and pans, sinks, and etc. 3 lbs 7 oz I highly recommend!

This great bowl is just under 12 inches across the top, and 8 inches in diameter across the bottom, just under 5" deep. I use it for washing dishes and love it.
