Decided to replace my aging (10-15 year old) Gillette Mach 3 with this Quattro about a month ago, unfortunately it isn't as good, mainly because it constantly gets blocked & is then difficult to clear (I tend to do 2 passes, then clear by shaking it under water, but it still isn't clear when you do that!). Maybe my facial hair is to dense for it? Maybe its because I usually shave every 2-3 days? (although the Gillette is fine with that!). The blades seem to be losing their sharpness much quicker too.May be ok if you have fine hair?Also, the tapered handle makes it harder to grip compared to the Gillette.Over all, disappointing! I

I've been using these blades for years now as I always found I was getting too much irritation from all the disposable women's razors/blades I tried. My partner at the time used these and said they reduced his skin irritation so I started getting my own and they've been a nice improvement. Nice quality blades and a smooth shave. Easy to remove the old blades and fit the new ones. Usually I'd order extra blades in the 8 packs, which just come in their little fitted square packet. However, this time I opted to buy extra to save money and get a little longer between repurchases, and it seems that if you order one extra stack of 4 they feel the need to send them in 50x the packaging! The box pictured isn't what they came in, they were just 3 little rows of blades in a massive box, which then comes in your amazon box too. I know it's all recyclable, but still seems a little excessive and unnecessary to over pack them like that.
