Cheap and functional and not unattractive. We have 3 on the go at any one time. If one gets brocken it can be cheaply replaced and we have spares. Over a period of a couple of years or more the metal holder can break. The most common reason replacement is accidental dropping or chipping of spout, which happens with much more expensive cafetières anyhow.

I broke my long lasting favourite cafetière needing a quick replacement, this seemed an ideal purchase.It’s glass, stainless steel & enough for just me. I can fill it straight from the kettle & it withstands the heat from the base & the sides.It looks ok. But mine, aesthetically, has a lean? The handle is pushed too far over. This means the central glass cafetière is pushed to one side! Looks terrible!Cleaning, it doesn’t come apart. I run it under a hot tap. There are some sharp areas so I’ve learnt to be careful. The glass comes out if it’s holder easily, that gets washed up separately.This is a temporary cafetière.

Lovely little cafetiere.Perfect size for one good mug and looks really good on the breakfast table.Makes me feel almost elegant, sat there bleary eyed in my drawers...

The metal cage which was flimsy came apart at the braised joint in under a year of onece a day use.... it worked fine until then .

I recently acquired some lovely ground coffee. I didn't know you had to plunge the coffee so i just put a spoonful in my mug and made it like how you would instant coffee. Obviously, it was very bitty and not very pleasant (no, i'm not blonde but i did act it on this day) so i done my research and got myself this plunger. NOTE! if you are a complete newbie, then look on youtube how to plunge coffee.The product itself is simple, but is very high quality. Its easy to clean and won't tarnish as its stainless steel.The main problem i had was the instructions but it may have been a problem with the....user (cough) I put the coffee on the filter bit and not at the bottom of the plunger. Maybe this could have been explained a bit clearer for us newbies? :)

UPDATE - after using for a few weeks a hole 2X4 cm hole burst out of the glass spilling all the coffee over the computer and my hand. I like my coffee so it is never filled with boiling water - just hot water. A few minutes after filling it started to leak slowly. I lifted it to see how glass could leak and this single piece of glass burst from the side along with all the coffee. I bought 2 of these things and I do not want to risk using the other. In my opinion THIS IS DANGEROUS.Great coffee cafetiere for one person (or for two with one cup each). The handle / holder is not very strong and to stop the glass falling out when pouring I push it into a slight oval - it then grips the glass for a couple of uses then oval it again. BUT ...I bought two of these and within 14 days both were broken - the parts of the plunger had fallen apart. I tightened the nuts a few times - fiddly - but they all fell apart.SOLUTION - I glued the nuts in place using an industrial glue. One fell apart after a few weeks and was re-glued. So far no more problems.CONCLUSION - Good value for little money. Once glued they will work well.

Great for 1 person. Saves on waste coffee.

For the price this is a great looking coffee pot and it does the job perfectly. Ok it’s a little flimsy but I use it every day and have never had a problem. It’s very easy to clean so I don’t know why anyone would put it in a dishwasher! .. just rinse it under hot water and once a week clean the filter .. it takes less than 2 minutes! All these coffee pots have a relatively short life as the glass gets bombarded with boiling water constantly but this is only my second in 4 years.

il prodotto fa bene il suo compito, il filtro aderisce bene e non fa passare le particelle, il metallo sembra di buona qualità nom conferisce alcun odore alla bevanda, si lava facilmente a mano. il vetro potrebbe essere più doppio, per questo metto 4 stelle.

Les accessoires de cette cafetière à piston fixés à la tige qui en prolonge le couvercle ne se placent pas bien dans le contenant. Conséquence : ils mettent de travers lorsqu'on les enfonce, au moment de préparer le café et le liquide obtenu contient des grains de café qui sont passés à travers. J'ai vissé et revissé dans tous les sens, rien n'y fait. Ca ne tien pas bien. Dommage, la cafetière en elle-même est jolie.
