This stuff is powerful. I was negligent with the rims so they were extremely dirty. I tried another product that helped. So instead of putting physical labor in, I labored and found this stuff. It was a great decision on my part. I will continue to buy this product.

I washed my car and it had been used for 5weeks before I cleaned it.i treated the wheels with the cleaner and they came out absolutely sparkling.no heavy brushing needed.first class product ,best I haver used.

our wheels must be 10 years old, get a wash a couple of times a year, awkward getting the cleaning mitt into the little gaps, and therefore the nooks and crannies are dark and dirty looking even after a good clean, with lots of little black pin point size particles that cannot be shifted - until now.Came across this while looking for another tin of Bilt Hamer wax, thought it was expensive but gave it a go.The bottle smells horrible even when sealed from Amazon - cannot keep this in the house.I washed the wheels as best I could, let dry, took photo. Inserted spray gun into the bottle, and fired - more of a jet than a spray. Tried to avoid the centre cap as instructed, but not very successfully. Immediately the stuff turned purple, and a thicker brown in the dark nooks and started running down. Left it a couple of minutes and blasted it with the hose. Great improvement, never had it so clean before, but not perfect where it counted. Did it again, but this time used an electric scrubbing brush I got from Lidl, like a big tooth brush, getting into the nasty nooks. Again a great improvement and then that was enough for one night, and there is hardly any sign of black particles anyway. Next time will no doubt dissolve more of what is left.WARNING - the instructions say not to spray the centre cap or let it the purple product dry. Next time I will remove the centre caps to avoid a slow dribble from that area. This left a brown (rust) stain down the clean wheel, and it will not rub off. However, a bit more of the spray turns it purple and it can then be cleaned off. The smell is very nasty, lingering on the hands after a good scrub, so gloves the next time.

This product is THE BEST wheel cleaner, hands down! It reacts the fastest I've ever seen in a wheel cleaner. It tackles the iron and ferrous metals very hard and cleans your wheels fast. This is the product you'd want to use to clean out very very messy rims or areas where scrubbing with dish soap just won't do.EDIT: I have changed my mind to a 5 star. Although the smell is horrendous, you'll get used to it quite fast. Think of a salon where they used too much dye. The smell will linger in whatever room you put it in.WEAR GLOVES! The smell will stay on you for quite some time regardless if you wash it off or not. If you're sensitive in smell, this might make you queasy.If you can overlook the smell OR acclimate to it, this will be the perfect cleaning product for wheels. Just one slight problem for USA buyers--the product isn't cheap to purchase. One bottle of 1000ml will run you at least $30usd.
