Henna Colour Correction
I used this for colour correction 5 and a half weeks after using a 'light brown' henna mix which had left me with copper/auburn hair. As my hair is naturally light brown to dark blonde I only let it sit on my hair for 20 minutes as I didn't want to go too dark. I mixed the indigo with warm water in a Pyrex bowl with a silicone spatula. I wasn't sure how much water to use so I filled the empty packet to rinse out any remaining indigo powder and that seemed to be enough. I applied it to my roots first then added some conditioner to the mixture to dilute it before applying it to my mid-lengths and ends as I didn't want an all-over shade. I wanted it to look like my natural hair colour which is darker at the roots with sun-lightened ends. Diluting with conditioner also helped to ensure that the 50g of indigo covered all of my hair which is halfway down my back. If your hair is of a similar length and you want 100% coverage and a darker shade I would recommend getting 100g. I washed it out in the shower using conditioner. The process worked perfectly and I now have light ash brown hair that is darker at the roots and a much lighter ash blonde at the ends with great condition and shine.

Seems to be a finer blend than other indigo powders I have used
I used this on my hair last night. I had used indigo before, last time was about 2 years ago. I used it after henna that time. Since then I've just been using normal shop bought dyes, but they have been giving my hair a red tinge. I wanted that gone! It seems to have helped, though I know with indigo it can take a couple of days before the colour fully develops. I only left it on 2 hours as I didnt want it jet black. It was reasonably easy to apply (indigo is always messy!) I mixed it with a small amount of salt and warm water. Easy to wash out in the shower. I just used conditioner. My hair feels good! And I liked the colour! Great price as well, will purchase again.

Good product if used correctly.
Genuine product. I have used it twice, first time I used a little hot water to mix it with and it seemed to release the indigo better than with cold. I added a tiny bit of Glycerine to make it sticky for application. Leave on for 60 mins for better results. Good for a boost if you have little grey (I used a mainstream product previously that was a wash in wash out after 8 washes, that didn't wreck my hair. I cannot get it anymore, probably due to the pandemic. So much has been cut back. I recently used a 24 wash in and wash out product for brown hair which lost me my natural brown glow, grrrrr. I also use a super drug henna shampoo (a German make) for ease but it only comes in shades of red - well der it is henna after all and they don't do the indigo one). Makes your hair well conditioned always though. I am wondering if it would be better to use this product differently: when I was a teenager in the 70's Mum and I used to cake the Henna and indigo powder mixes on our hair, cover our heads in tin foil, then use a hair dryer to heat the mix. Believe me the results were strong! I once did just indigo and I ended up with black hair! We had punks in those days but I felt like a goth! So I had to use the red henna all over again! I think when I have time I will use the tin foil method!
