Sturdy and easy to assemble
I got this as a rig for a sensory swing and other suspensions (wink). For my purposes, I would have preferred something a bit taller but my selection was limited by budget and this one is a great option until I am able to get something bigger. I assembled it by myself with no trouble which was great. The only thing I found a bit odd was that there were little metal inserts within parts of the frame. The instructions said to remove them but their function is unclear so now I’m not sure what to do with them.

Bought this to go with an aerial hammock
THIS DOES -NOT- COME WITH A SWING BY THE WAY! I KNEW THIS WHEN BUYING, BUT IN CASE YOU DID NOT REALIZE. Comes with 2 carabinersI received this package on time and was able to put it together without problems material-wise. I am a not strong person, and I got it put together and functional whilst alone with ease. It's not really heavy. I bought it along with an aerial hammock since it looked like it would hold it and give me some manner of aerialist experiences for my tiny budget. For the sake of the fact I'm not entirely using this for what it is built for, it gets like 4 1/2 stars as a chair stand. Feels slightly unstable swinging side-to-side, but for an adult who just intends to swing forward and backward a little bit, it's great. With the hammock:I can't much of anything due to size limits, so I do not recommend if you are looking to do poses. It is short, so I can invert with my head dragging against the ground. Shortening the sling a few inches may help this. It isn't very wide either. I do not feel as though it is going to collapse at a gust of wind, but it will tip over if you put your weight too far off one side. Getting weights attached to the bottom would probably help fix this. I would say saving up money would be wiser in the long run to get a real rig to do actual poses, but I just want to hang in the air for the time being and it does that well. I did fall asleep in the hammock earlier.I will try to update this review when I try some conditioning exercises.

Sturdy and functional
This is a great stand for a chair hammock I bought. It is sturdy and stable. My only complaint is it didn't come with assembly instructions, which would have made it faster to put together.

Poorly Made
Would not recommend buying this. A lot of things wrong:-Ordered white - came with mismatched feet colors.-Not sturdy at all - wobbles just when getting on it. Forget about gentle swinging.-Bad hardware - bolts are way too long, so tightening it properly is impossible. This is probably a contributing factor to the instability.I'd return it if I hadn't waited so long to put it together :(

Seat hangs low
Good and sturdy. Wish it was a bit taller to hang the chair further from the ground. My hammock seat is only about 3-4 inches from the ground. Still comfortable. Just my preference would be it hold the seat up higher.

Seems sturdy enough for us
I’m not ready for a rocking chair, but I may be ready for a rocking chair. This seems like a reasonable compromise. Our house is old and hanging chairs from the porch ceiling is a little dicey. These are quick to put together and they are holding me (215 lbs) easy.I need a foot stool to give me something to push against for swinging. We got two so we can have our coffee on the front porch.
