SkagenMen's Grenen Three-Hand Date Watch With Steel Mesh or Leather Band

Bought this for my 20yo birthday. He likes the light weight band and non bulkiness

I've been wearing Skagen watches for decades. While this is nice, it's a far cry from what made Skagen watches notable. They were known for ultra-thin watches. This is not. I think that since fossil bought them they've lost their biggest advantage. The one I received, although it's fairly attractive, is made of plastic. Even the "crystal", which used to be a real watch crystal, is plastic. I do like the idea that this particular model is solar, It will take a long time to see if that's even an advantage. I never had a problem with having to replace the battery every couple years. I like the look of the randomly woven strap, but I can't imagine it will last very long. I won't use it every day, as I was hoping to.

I researched extensively before ordering this watch. Very high quality watch with a great look. Been wearing it for a while now. Have ordered another watch by Skagen due to how impressed I am with this. Easy to read, comfortable, and durable. I also appreciate that it has more buckle holes than some watches. It will fit most wrist sizes which I appreciate as I have struggled to find watches that can accommodate my (pretty skinny) wrist size. 10/10

This very classic , stylish watch is gorgeous !!My husband likes the design , the leather band , and the slimness of the watch case , plus the readability of the face .It is a very very valuable , functional gift !!

True Confession time: I'm a woman and I bought this for me! I'm so sick of having to put on my glasses to read the tiny dials on a woman's watch. I love the BIG FACE of this (NO glasses needed) and it's not clunky at all, so smaller people can wear it and it still looks stylish. As a matter of fact, it's slim. I like that the wrist band lays flat with no lump undernearth the way you get with a traditional leather band.Excellent quality and build. Nice design that a man or a woman (leave your glasses in your purse) can wear.I haven't had it for long. We'll see. I always leave it under a light when I'm not using it. Read the instructions in teeny-tiny type....Solar. Yes. A+

The watch is nice, but it arrived with a dead battery. I am going to purchase a new battery and replace it myself to avoid the return hassle. Hopefully it will work once the new battery is installed.

I've had a Skagen before and I've gifted Skagen watches before. They are ultra thin and you barely know they are on your wrist. The band on this one seems a little "fragile" but the price of the watch was amazing and I love the feel and look.

Skagen makes a nice watch that will last with nothing more than battery replacements. I have several older Skagen's that sill look as good as the day I bought them. This watch looks classy without breaking the bank and the light weight design is virtually unnoticeable.
