Sam'S Yams Yam Bones Sweet Potato Dog Treats, Calmly Chamomile, 8-Ounce

I hate to say it but my doggie did not like them at all. She did not like the smell of them so she didn't even want to engage. I soaked one in water to see if maybe she would try it and it was still a no-go. Not for my pup. Not happy.

I got these for my german shepherd to help her relax feel calm at night I thought they were going to be chewy but they are rock hard . I soak them before giving them and she loves them and they do calm her just wish they were chewy like the bag says.

My Italian greyhound is somewhat of a picky eater and loves to chew on these. I have to put them in another zip lock pouch so they do not dry out. The dog got sick on other cheapo raw hide chews. These are high quality. It seems the chamomile has a calming effect also. She takes a nap after chewing on one. I hope they never quit making these!

The inner packaging is terrible it is always broke open when I get them there are no seals on the outer package manufacturer has to change packaging as for me I am very uncomfortable giving my dog something that is not in a sealed package although my dog loves them I will be canceling my order until they improve their packaging

My dogs like sweet potato treats. I don't think it did any good at calming my mini pin who needs calming when left alone in her crate even if it is a short time.

I have been satisfied by all precious orders of Sam's Yams, but these were very stale and hard. I don't know if they were old or packaged poorly. Wasted purchase.

Neither one of my dogs like these treats. One is a year old and will eat anything (including paper). I wish I would have asked for a sample at the local store. They have another brand of sweet potato treats. I suspect it is simply a dislike for the taste of sweet potatoes and nothing to do with the quality of this specific brand. It was an expensive way to try something new.

and I feel good that they are made in the USA and contain all natural ingredients.I would give this 5 stars, but in less than a month, the price has almost doubled from $7.49 to $13.94. None of the other Sam's Yams products have increased in price and other sellers are still offering it in the $7 range. Amazon says the list price is $24.73, when it is actually $7.99. Free shipping means nothing if I'm paying $6.50 more. I'm sure this is a mistake and wish Amazon would fix it.I would have no problem with the Yam Bones being an add on item. I'm running out, but won't pay this much. Meanwhile, I'll stock up on the Rawhide Sweet Potato Treats and hope they'll fix this soon.Update on my review:The price is adjusted, so now it gets the five stars it deserves!
