Loved the bowls when I first got them, but after one use, soaking chicken in a brine (water and salt), a spot appeared on the inside bottom, which shows a different metal under the stainless. Seller responded but provided no reason why the top layer soaked off and what the metal underneath might be, so I don't feel safe using them. Later: Did some research, and a magnet sticks to stainless steel - I tried it, and the magnet did not stick at all.

I bought these because they had covers and I could store things in them, but off the bat the three smallest lids do not fit their containers, they cannot be sealed not matter how hard I press them down they pop back out. Huge miss for me, quite a waste of my time and money since those are the ones I'd use the most. Unable to return them so just stuck with the issue. Very disappointed I wasted my money getting these!!!!

Just received these bowls yesterday and only tested them for the top seals for fit. They securely seal just like the video shows. The bowls are actually very beautiful which was a pleasant surprise. They look very high end and fit perfectly when nestled together. They take up very little room in my kitchen drawer in comparison to my old bowls. It took me a long time to pick these from the Amazon choices but I am extremely pleased that I settled on these. This would be a perfect gift for anyone who is going to a housewarming party or a bridal shower and needs to bring something practical for the kitchen!

This is a nice set of bowls. They have a nice finish and look acceptable for service and the lids make them functional for storage. The shape and the non slip base make them a pleasure to use. My only complaint is that a larger sized 8qt bowl is really needed for salads and other bulky mixing tasks. Some sets I looked at had this but did not have the number of bowls this set offer and were considerably more expensive. Fortunately I had already had some large bowls without lids and rarely need to store food in the 8qt size. The way these bowls AND lids all nest together allows for minimal kitchen space taken up and decent ease of accessibility

I rely on Amazon Reviews and make it a point to write them too. The quality of the Premium Mixing Bowls With Lids is top notch. They are a heavy stainless steel bowls with a rubberized bottom and lids that fit on really tight. The rubberized bottom impressed me the most. I can put the bowl on my granite counter top and not have to worry about it slipping and sliding all over the place. The rubberized lids are really snug but be warned the manufacturer strongly suggests hand washing them because the heat could change their shape.

I use these bowls mostly for measuring out ingredients for baking. Sometimes, I use them to store cookie dough in the fridge or icing that I didn’t use for whatever project I’m working on. I find that the lids aren’t the best. Not a great seal. But, that’s not entirely important to me because I don’t store anything in them for long, usually less than 24 hours before I’m using whatever I put in them. I used a metal whisk in one and it definitely scratched the bowl, but again. That’s not really all that important to me, they do what I need them to do, and I like the nonskid base.

Great set of stainless steel mixing bowls! I just wanted a nice set of bowls with lids. I am glad i decided on this brand. I love the bottom of these bowls with the black. It helps when you are using the bowls on the counter from slipping. The lids are nice because you can stack things on top of the bowl if you are short on space. I looked at several other sets on Amazon and I chose this set because the price was pretty good for what you get. I am not disappointed! The set looks great and I'm really glad I chose the non slip kind.

My wife loves the bowls. We did find one thing that would be a con. The other day we made a cold pasta salad and used the largest bowl to cool the salad in the frig. We put the lid on and placed it in the frig. Two hours later when we took it out we found that the lid wouldn't stay on. You see the metal bowl had contracted from the cold but the lid had not. If you leave it out for a while to warm up the lid fits again. And that's why we rated it 4 stars.
