Great Product but questionable design
Great product so far- decided to buy my own after multiple times of borrowing my dad’s. I got the newer version but it came scratched up inside because the burner barely fits inside. I understand the stability side of the design but the older version has a bag for the burner to go into to prevent that. Tried using a piece of thin fabric to go around it to solve my problem but not enough space even for that. Disappointed that it scratches every time I put it away.

Must have
Took this on my 30 mile 3 day hike in the N Idaho mountains and it was a lifesaver. Easy to use, lightweight, quick! I even made my morning coffee. It’s a must have!!!

Jetboil is a gimmick
They fool you with the fast boil time because the spec is for only 2 cups of water. MSR Pocket Rocket boils 2 cups in 110 seconds without all the useless insulation and magical flux ring. Pocket Rocket has a very fine adjustable control valve allowing everything from a slow simmer to a jet blast. Jetboil only has off and wide open.

Great product, could be slightly improved
Great product, does what it advertises. But the plastic measuring cup/bowl doesnt securely attach to the bottom which is annoying for backpacking. Also, the ignitor can be hit or miss. But I always have a lighter so it's not an issue
