The brush is really good for brushing my dogs fur and keeps it tangle free.It’s easy to use and hold, and with the push of a button the brush bristles go in and you remove the fur.

Not ideal for a cat. Well made and comfortable to hold but only suitable for a larger pet

The media could not be loaded.  Very pleased with the performance of this. I already have a Furminator, which is a lot more expensive than this. However, I can honestly say that this removes a lot more fur per swipe than my other one - so reduces the time taken to brush our dog. Tbh he actually quite likes getting brushed anyway, but I know some can get a bit tetchy. Jimmy the Border Terrier gives it 5 stars, although he may want another brush tomorrow just to make sure! The build quality feels a quite light/plasticky, so I hope the longevity of it matches the initial performance, which so far is good.

The brush incorporates a mechanism which acts both as a bristle cleaner and a case to protect the bristles from being bent or damaged. Which is a very useful features for it to have as the bristles are made from a thin wire like metal. It also means that the case won't end up being lost or misplaced.The bristle tips are coated to prevent them from scratching the dogs skin. There is a button on the handle which locks the bristles into position. Sliding the same button also retracts the bristles and controls the self cleaning mechanism. It moves the back plate over the brush head to completely remove any fur stuck there. I found the brush to be very comfortable to hold and easy to manoeuvre and use due to its ergonomic design. The handle also has a good grip to it.My dog has hair rather than fur, which is not too thick at the moment, the length of the bristles is on the short side which may make it more difficult to get through my dogs coat as it grows. Although it doesn't effect the functionality of the brush in anyway it's a nice shade of purple. The plastic used is okay quality it doesn't feel brittle or cheap like it will break.

Even the cat loves this! this two in one pet grooming comb has brought life to the house as we no longer worry about the shedding fur of our cat. I was quite surprised as to how quickly and when it actually picks up the shredded hair from my cat and it's quite efficient as well. using the bladed side with 18 blades is the best to actually pick up all the shedded fur from my cat. it's quite helpful and comfortable to hold as well it's got a nice grip to it and also the comb that's given with it is very helpful in brushing the cats fur either opposite or in the right direction as it helps with also taking off the shedded hair. I really do like the comfort of the grip and the handle for the actual grooming tool and I believe that it's very comfortable to use and it's quite efficient in the use as well. there's nothing negative I can say about this product if you wanting to use it for a cat I could definitely recommend it I'm not sure about dog because I don't have a dog but it is a great product and see for yourself. Invest! you won't regret it!

Easy to hold, clean and use, but to retract itself was a bit fiddly and even now using it I'm unsure if I am to click is down and in to hold the retraction in place or up and back and view versa, this is due to it being plastic, it's alright, it works, but it's not very affirmative; and this is where it looses a star for me, as this is a key piece of functionality.But slicking through our poodle and our rabbit this is really good at pulling shedding tufts from the rabbit and the poodles get a good thorough run through.It's just a shame about the mechanism. It would otherwise be an easy five stars.

Delivered in its own sealed packThis wide self cleaning dog brush is made from plastic , on the handle there is a push button that , you press down , when it's down the stainless steel combs with rounded plastic ends appear , brush the dog with it then release the button . This makes the combs retract and as they do the fur comes away from them , all you need to do is dispose of it .It's ergonomic to hold while brushing even the wriggliest of pooches .I'm very happily recommending , brushing for 10 minutes every morning helps the dogs skin while also avoiding excessive moulting .
