Tom Petty: Fender Special Edition G-DEC Guitar Play-Along Pack Paperback – April 1, 2011

This is one awesome guitar book. You have the music tracks for 8 songs, and the settings for the amp to make it sound right. Plug in the card and punch a few buttons to load it up. The tabs in the book are simple and accurate, and most leads are documented so you can learn them as well. Tom Petty is not one to complicate the music with lots of obscure hard to fret cords, this should be the first G-Dec book you purchase if you like Tom Petty.

Really good method of learning how to play at the right chords and timing / speed for some classic Tom Petty songs

Good stuff, but confused why the Eric Clapton one was priced at £ 999.

It would be great to have some more tips for guitar beginners ;) SD card with presets is OK.

I now own a G-DEC 3 Thirty and Fifteen love the ability to load these presets into them. I have purchased a few of these G-DEC books now so I've copied all the backing tracks for them to a single SD card and imported the presets from the various cards.Now I can quickly jam Nirvana, SRV, Hendrix, Clapton, ZZ Top or Tom Petty just by dialing in the preset.
