Hampton Forge 54 Piece Signature Lace Frosted Flatware Set With Wood Caddy, Metallic

We have had a three place setting of this pattern and I have been looking to increase these for some time. How delighted I was to find a fifty four piece set with caddy for such a great price. It's a very attractive set and excellent for daily usage.

A few years ago I decided to update my kitchen with new small appliances, new dinnerware, new glassware and new silverware. I discovered this Hampton Forge 54 Piece Signature Lace Frosted Flatware Set With Wood Caddy in a local store and immediately fell in love with the design. So much so, that I purchased two complete sets. Once I got the set home, I loved it even more. The weight was perfect for dining, not too light and not too heavy. The design is stylish without being too girly. The pieces are sturdy and resilient, which is a requirement with 4 guys in the house. Over the past couple of years several pieces have gone missing, (houseful of guys) and unfortunately my local store no longer carries the Hampton Forge 54 Piece Signature Lace Frosted Flatware Set With Wood Caddy. I have been looking everywhere for another set with no luck, and had just about decided to purchase a different set of silverware altogether, when I discovered the Hampton Forge 54 Piece Signature Lace Frosted Flatware Set With Wood Caddy was available for sale at Target and on Amazon. I was so delighted to find the entire set, and for a cheaper price on Amazon. I ordered it immediately and anxiously awaited the arrival of my package. The Hampton Forge 54 Piece Signature Lace Frosted Flatware Set With Wood Caddy arrived quickly and was very well packaged. The pieces are exactly like the set I purchased a few years ago and I couldn't be happier to have found them again. Now I have all the pieces I need and a few extras. They hold up well with daily use and I love that I can just throw them in the dishwasher. I plan to use these for a long, long time.

Over the years some forks and spoons from my original set have gone missing and I really wanted to keep this set. I was so excited to find this set that looked exactly like my current set from the same company. I just received the new set today. I could not be more disappointed when I held the pieces in my hand. It is noticeably lighter in weight, thinner, and has sharp edges. It is definitely NOT worth the money I paid for this product. I am returning it tomorrow and will look for something different. It feels like cheap aluminum throw away plastic ware.

Simple yet elegant. We use them daily but I would have no hesitation using them for guests. Well made, comfortable grip and a professional finish. I would definitely buy again, if I need to.

We bought this set to match one we bought 6-8 years ago. Same brand and design but the silverware is visibly cheaper. Each piece is noticeably lighter by a lot, the old set had solid handles with the design on front. The new set is like stamped metal, large opening in back opposite of the design showing how much less metal each piece is made with. Silver looks like lesser quality on new pieces compared to older used pieces. They are the correct shapes, sizes, and design.
