Saved my car!
I was out of town for about 7 weeks. Didn't occur to me that my car battery would drain so much. I have a portable battery jumper which helped but it wasn't enough to charge the battery back to its fullest capacity. I kept needing to recharge it every time....I went to auto zone and they offered to charge it for free but it would require you to take the battery out of the car which would be okay but I didn't have the tools or experience on how to do that. Out of curiousity, I decided to search on Amazon to see if a car battery charger would be affordable and when I saw this gadget and for the price, I was a little skeptical. However, it had good reviews, plus free returns, so I took a chance. I figured I had nothing to lose and esp since I had no way of going anywhere since my car was completely unreliable. It took a day to arrive and when it did, I charged it for a good 9 hours. I kept waiting for the "FUL" msg to come on but nothing was showing, which was why I kept charging it for that long. I finally started my car and with this gadget attached, that's when I saw "FUL". That's the only drawback about this item because it was supposed to show "FUL" when it is fully charged but it never did. Anyway, I am just so thankful the battery was charged fully and I have been driving the car again with no issue. I still keep the portable jumper in the car just in case but so far, no problem starting the car since I charged it with this thing. For the price, it worked and has saved my car.The good things about it:1. it is small but powerful enough2. easy to use, just clamp the cable clamps (follow instructions cuz you do the neg first then the positive)3. price is decent, less than $30!What could be better:1. the "ful' msg should have popped up per the manual but it never did. However, when I started my car and with this attached, I can see it said "ful" then.2. the electrical cord could be longer but maybe that's why it is compact. Just remember to use an extension cord with it when you plug it in.Overall, for the price, it is a great buy and I would recommend spending the money for that piece of mind (and for your car). So glad I took a chance and bought this!

Slow and Steady Wins the Race
I learned a lot about battery chargers from researching to make this purchase. There are two types of chargers, a fast boost or jump charger and a slower trickle charger, which are very different from one another. This is the slower trickle charger and it works very well. You connect the charger to the battery then plug the charger into the wall and let it sit for 12 hours if your battery is really low or less if it is not. It works great for my mom's car because she rarely drives. She hadn't drove in 4 months and the battery appeared to be dead. The trickle charger says it will not start totally dead batteries. Thankfully the charger read that the car battery was at 17% and it was able to charge even though no lights would turn on or make sounds inside the car. The other type of chargers, the boost/jump charger, requires you to pre-charge the battery in the charger first, plugging it into the wall for a few hours, then you connect the charger to the car battery and push a button to transfer the charge. The car is only connected to the boost/jump charger, not the wall, so you can carry the portable charger with you and can be used anywhere. That is the plus of that type of charger. Just like a normal jump start, it just starts the car, you have to leave it running, burning gas, for 20 minutes to let the car finish charging up the battery the rest of the way, if you turn it off right away, you'll have to jump start it again. This trickle charger is totally different. The trickle charger does not a have battery in itself and does not hold a charge. It can be used straight out of the box and it must be plugged into the wall and connected to the car battery at the same time, so you need to use it at home. It's not portable. You don't have to wait for the car battery to totally die, you can connect the trickle charger and "top" off the car battery as needed. It's great for cars that aren't driven all the time to keep the car battery charged up. It sure beats calling AAA and waiting for a jump start. The trickle charger fully charges the car battery for you, so you don't have to leave the car running and burning up gas but it does take significant time to charge. I hope this explanation of the differences of the types of chargers helps someone.

Works Great - Revitalized Killed AGM Battery
I was a little skeptical of this inexpensive charger when I took it out of the package since it looks pretty flimsy, but after using it on 5 different auto, utv and motorcycle batteries I found it easy to use and effective. LED readout is untuitive and informative showing operating temp of the charger, charging voltage and current. Using the repair mode (pulsed variable rate charging) it brought a totally dead agm utv battery back to life. My main criticisms are that the AC power and batteries leads are really short and light weight. Nothing really got too hot, but I don't think I trust this charger yet to leave unattended while in operation for extended periods.

Awesome battery charger!
This car battery charger is a game-changer! The 12V 6A capacity is perfect for quickly and efficiently charging and maintaining my classic car battery. I love the smart features, especially the temperature compensation, which ensures optimal performance regardless of weather conditions. It’s also incredibly easy to use, with clear indicators and an intuitive design that even non-experts can handle. The desulfator function is a great addition, helping extend the life of the battery and saving me money in the long run. What sets this charger apart is its versatility and reliability. It works not only as a trickle charger but also as a battery maintainer, so I don’t have to worry about my car battery losing charge during long periods of inactivity. The build quality feels solid and durable, giving me confidence that it will last for years. Overall, this is an excellent investment for anyone who wants to keep their car battery in top condition without any hassle. Highly recommend!
