Go this for our travel trailer. It’s very heavy duty for my purpose. It’s used as a flip up small desk top. I place my sewing machine on it and it’s sturdy. I’ve used the desk I made with a piece of wood several times. They only thing is I should have bought a thicker piece of wood because the screws popped through.I used smaller screws but it would be better if the wood was thicker- but the hinges are amazing! Very easy to pop up and down

I added an outdoor fold-down shelf beside my BBQ grill, and these brackets are perfect for my needs. I decided I needed 3 for my application, so I ordered a second pair (I wish they were sold individually, too). With 3 brackets the shelf is extremely sturdy. The only problem I have is it's a little hard to reach the release lever in the middle bracket.

I used two of these folding hinges on a small ironing board, so I can raise and lower it. No problem holding the weight of the 3 foot ironing board without any additional support. They tightly lock into place with no wiggle room. It was a bit difficult to attach to the wall though. I had to get underneath the board to mark where I needed the screws to be located, and then screwing them in I had to get a chair to balance the ironing board on until I could get they brackets screwed down tightly. I would purchase them again.

I used this for my camper. Our counter in our 5th wheel has an extension that folds up and down. The previous struts broke so I ordered these to replace it with. It’s perfect and super sturdy.

The brackets are not flimsy but they're not super heavy, so weight capacity as advertised is hard to imagine. But I'm not a engineer, just a tiny house on wheels builder. Excellent value. The possibility list for fold-down furniture projects is long! A 5 star rating would have to be earned, but at first glance after install of a table with them, I'll be buying more.
