Q: I need to know Where is this filter made?

It is made in China. One person answered the water taste terrible and that is true if you don't flush 1 to 2 gallons through it. Once it is flushed and any sediment in the filter is gone it taste fine.

Q: Has anyone else had issues with this product where the water seems to be freezing in the unit if you don't use it for a day?

I had this same issue, the problem is with the fridge itself not the filter. I had a GE repair guy come and he did a quick reinulation of the water lines for about $50. That fixed the issue and it hasn't happened since.

Q: Does it match ge gse25hshjhss?

Not sure about that particular model number. These filters seem to fit any fridge that takes MW or MWF filters. Don't get confused by all the letters. I just found what type my GE fridge uses fro the GE website and Googled that type of water filter. That's how I landed on Amazon. Hope this helps.

Works on my GE Profile fridge

I have a GE Profile fridge from circa 2011 and these work great as replacement water filter. They are very easy to install and require you to run the water dispenser for a bit to get all the air out of the line, but once it’s flowing it gives a good flow rate and the taste is very clean. These are a great value compared to name brand.
