Works on both AA and AAA, and allows you to charge a single battery - very helpful
I like this charger because it allows you to charge a single battery, versus a requiring you to charge a pair or 4 batteries. While that might seem like a little thing, the chargers that require multiple batteries give you a warning and stop charging if one of the batteries is faulty. You then have to figure out which battery is faulty in order to get all of them to charge...which is not immediately obvious. With this charger, every battery that is good can be charged.

Excellent battery charger for my purposes.
I have been using this product for nine months now, and nothing has gone wrong. It seems very well made and attractive looking. I bought the charger and 12 EBL AAA batteries. The batteries really are good quality. You can charge them, put them in the drawer, and use them 2 months later. They hold charge well. I bought them because I have a HP50G scientific calculator which burns up batteries very quickly, so it was costing me too much replacing AAA batteries. These EBL rechargeable batteries last for a long time in the calculator before they need to be recharged. However, the point is: the battery charger works well.

Good charger. No faults. Working as intended. Good price and would recommend.
Works perfectly. No problems detecting battery full charge! (Confirm by place full battery from this charger into my older charger and it detects the battery is full after only a few seconds and stops charging)Only thing not really worth taking off a star is the green LED's are alternating slot positions bright and dim whether there is a battery plugged in or not.red charging indicator is same brightness though for all the slots. Not really a problem just a bit odd.Its a good charger for charging batteries fully and they barely even get above room temperature after a full charge from dead to full. And not too fast of charge so it works with my lower capacity batteries too!Update: !I've noticed it's capable of charging my EBL batteries i recently got up to 1.45v fresh off the charger if I keep the batteries on for a few hours after the light turns green and the batteries are cool.Compared to my other battery charger which only charges them up to 1.4v even if I let them sit on the charger for a few hours they drop to 1.38 or 1.39vso it seems this charger will more fully charge my batteries so I'm going to stick with it! And they keep a longer charge with this charger too!I can charge my batteries in my fast charger then pop them in this EBL charger and they will continue to charge for another minute. then I keep them on the charger for an extra hour or so and they show 1.45v and stay above 1.4v for the rest of the day when left sitting!I like that it keeps the batteries all the way up to full better than my fast charger its a great charger cheap and does the job! Using with AAA 1,100mAh NIMH EBL batteries

Unhappy
Great product and does the job. Bit to the costly side. One problem is that one of the light has not been working from day one but it does the charging. Poor quality control probably. Couldn’t bother changing as I needed it in a hurry.

An excellent charger, but beware if you're in a hurry!
I'm super happy with this charger. It's very convenient, especially for my purposes. I use it pretty much exclusively to recharge 2 AA batteries at a time when I need a swap out for the cordless Xbox controller on the PC. I keep the charger and USB cable handy, and when the time rolls around, I swap out my controller batteries, pop the dead batteries into the charger and plug it into my USB hub and let it do it's thing sitting on the desk until they're charged. Super handy, it does a great job, and I really like that you can charge 1 battery (or 3) at a time if you need to...my other charger will only do them in pairs. The only drawback is that it is VERY slow compared to my other one. I believe that is because it's charging via USB rather than AC. It's not a deal breaker for me at all, so I didn't deduct any stars, but if you have a need for speed, I'd suggest getting one that charges via AC wall power.
