HP Elitebook 840 G5 Laptop Intel Core i7 1.80 GHz 16Gb Ram 512GB SSD Windows 10 Pro-64 (Renewed)

I bought this refurbished HP Elitebook 840 G5 almost two years ago, and it’s still running flawlessly. The build quality was like-new upon arrival, with zero cosmetic damage and solid performance. The Intel i7 processor and 16GB RAM have handled all my work tasks with ease, and the 512GB SSD keeps things fast and responsive. Dynamic IT Hardware clearly takes care in refurbishing—this machine has outperformed my expectations in every way. Highly recommended!

In the product description, it specifically states that this laptop had Windows 10, which is exactly what I wanted. Instead, when I got it, it had Windows 11. Other than that, it was a very nice laptop and I'm only returning it because of the innacuraate description. Good screen quality, lightweight, all the keys worked, perfect size... Like I said, nice laptop. Just innacuraate product description. So, therefore I'm returning it. Very, very frustrating.

After unpacking this laptop, I looked and scrutinized the whole unit. I was very impressed, because this refurbished model looked brand new! No scratches, No dents, extremely clean!The setup of windows 10 Pro was a breeze, even the 10 G network over Thunderbolt was / is extremely fast. The i7 CPU, 16 Gb Ram, and Thunderbolt work together extremely well. It only took a few minutes to get "everything" set up. After imaging the drive to my NAS for safety reasons, I upgraded to Windows 11 Pro. Now I'm even more impressed! Absolutely error free upgrade to Windows 11 Pro. I'm using a Sonnettech Solo 10 G SFP+ Thunderbolt connection and it is crazy FAST. Reinstalling my software went through error free and really quick. I can definitely recommend this seller and would definitely buy from them again. I definitely feel that I purchased a very good refurbished laptop. Naturally, the 14" screen is too small for me, but the HDMI port connects to a 27" Samsung curved monitor which is perfect for me. Having a USB 3.1 hub with 3 ports helps when connection ports are limited. I did notice that 3 keys on the keyboard needed a little TLC because they wouldn't respond 100% correct, but after Q-tip cleaning they worked as designed 😉.I'm very surprised and happy with this purchase!One month update:I have put this laptop through the paces of rigorous office work and high speed network compatibility using a 10 Gb SFP+ Thunderbolt connection. This is awesome!It works flawlessly on my 10 Gb network and can do a complete laptop NVMe drive image in under 7 minutes. Even after the update to Windows 11 Pro the system is running great.If you need a reliable and fast laptop, then check out this seller, good quality and fast delivery, but hurry, they are selling out fast!

The computer was mostly fine. I just needed something a little lighter. The keyboard is a little on the hard side and I've been used to something softer with a brand I've been using for the last few years. I decided to return it as I wasn't enjoying the typing experience but everything else was okay.

Clean and fast processing. But fully charged battery lasts about 1.5 hours just surfing the internet. Far less with video. Stay near a power outlet. Battery is the only drawback, otherwise happy with it.

I typically always buy these computers for our work as they are an older generation, but they work amazing, and they are designed to last forever, 5 to 7 years of use or more. The seller had a great unit and I was extremely happy and pleased with the purchase. The product works amazing and the battery is still in great condition. No defects or anomalies are present with this unit, and I would definitely buy from this seller again 100% recommend! Five stars review!!

The laptop overall is great for the price.The problem is that when I turned on the laptop it automatically logged into the desktop with the local admin account. Of course, I do not have the password which means that I cannot create my own local admin account. When trying to create my own local account I am prompted for the current password which is not possible. This is not acceptable and is not a proper Windows Image. A proper Windows Image for resale has the computer defaulted to first time login and you are able to login and create your own account or login with a Microsoft account.I should not and will not argue with the seller regarding his business practices.I simply returned the item and get my money back.For this reason, only (which is a very important issue); I am super disappointed with this purchase.I am an IT Professional so please believe me, that the computers should have a professional Windows Image with first time login available to the new user.
