Q: What does -6db and 3db and 0db mean?

This is how much power the crossover attenuates, or "absorbs" before it goes to the tweeter. Every 3dB that a sound is increased or decreased requires double or half the power respectively. So, 0dB allows the full power to hit the tweeter... lets say it's 50W. Most of the time, the tweeter will be way too overpowering and loud in comparison to the rest of the system if you run it at the same power. Therefore, most crossovers allow for attenuation of the highs to balance the system. In this case, connecting the positive lead to the -3dB will reduce the power from 50W to 25W, providing a more balanced sound without having to turn down the gain on your amp. The -6dB just reduces the power by half again, (12.5W in this example) and so on... hope this helps.

I wouldn't put more then 125 watts through them.

It's not quite that simple. If you were to wire a woofer and tweeter together without a crossover, they would each get 50w, much of which they aren't designed to play, so there's a lot of waste (and potential for damage). With a crossover, the woofer gets the low frequencies of that 100w, and the tweeter gets the high frequencies of that 100w. So if your amp was sending 100w of bass/mid, the woofer would get 100w (minus a bit due to ohms law, obviously), and likewise for the tweeter with high frequencies. Therefore, you'd still want to run speakers rated for the full output of that channel on the amp.

Q: Can I mix a 4-ohm tweeter and a 2-ohm midbass with this crossover

You might be able to. I have 3 ohm running through it, with both tweets and mids
