Here’s why I gave a two star rating. First off, Amazon sent me a side table instead of a lamp upon the first shipment so that put my job back a week (a one star deduction). When we finally got the right order we opened the box to find out that the instructions for this lamp are vague, at best (another one star deduction). Fortunately, I have a high enough mechanical aptitude to figure it out but this might be a really difficult install for the mechanically challenged. Upon final construction I found that the four tensioning chains don’t hang evenly (see image) so the shade is primarily supported by two chains and the threaded post; the other two chains are basically slack (another one star deduction). I’m not fully sure why it would be this way other than there being a manufacturing defect in the distance of the shades four hanging points to the center cap because the chains are of equal length? Lastly, this light is very dim even with three 60 watt bulbs in it. I would say that the shade cuts the emitted light down about 33%. I’ve decided to run 100 watt bulbs on a dimmer switch at the wall plate in order to get the desired illumination. On a positive note I will say that it does look really nice though. Regardless, I still feel that they owe me a discount for the hassle of delays, installation issues and the tension chain concern.

I bought a new condo in July (2020) and was looking for a hanging lamp in the kitchen to replace the hideous lamp left by the former owner. I love stained glass and adore mission-style glasswork and have several mission-style pieces already. I looked at several lighting stores but everything interesting was VASTLY overpriced!When I moved into my new place, it was the first time in 16 years that I would have an eat-in kitchen, so I knew I wanted something colorful that would look pretty from the outside as well as in. At first I looked at several Turkish hanging lamps. They are beautiful and elegant. But then I saw this one and knew it was the perfect one for my tastes -- in terms of loving color and mission style -- and would look great with the new granite countertops and wood, earth-tone cabinets that were being installed. (I DESPISE all-white kitchens -- so cold, impractical, and sterile!).I was thrilled by this lamp that it was everything it promised to be. And I LOVE the fact that it is inverted. That way, when you are sitting at the table and look up, instead of being blinded by light bulbs, you see the pretty, colorful lamp fixture. Plus, it was an EXTREMELY reasonable price. The lamps I was interested in at lighting stores were almost10 times or so the price of this lamp -- most were about $1,800. No way I'm paying that much for something isn't as pretty and colorful as this!

This fixture is more beautiful than the online photo and my photo below can portray (ignore the bad paint samples painted above the mantle; room isn't complete). If you love the photo on Amazon, just buy this piece. You won't regret! Because it is a stained glass piece, it does throw light up to the ceiling. I prefer this because it bounces down and evenly distributes light in the room. All inverted stained glass fixtures will do this; just don't expect a brightly lit room. It was fairly easy to install. Overall... Just buy it!

Not happy with this product. I purchased this when I moved into a new house. In the process of moving in, the box was misplaced in the garage. Many months later, I found this box and went to install in this past weekend. While I have installed many ceiling fans in my time. This doesn't compare to the frustration of trying to figure out the correct order of assembly. In the process of hanging this to the ceiling, the middle "disk" split apart. (See Photo.) Now, it's been too long since purchasing it to return it to Amazon. I write this to hopefully sway someone from making the same mistake that I made. With only a single photo of how it all goes together, do not attempt to assemble, it's not worth the time and frustration you will receive. It's made of plastic and it's not durable at all.

First of all, I don't think there is any glass in this at all. However, it looks better than so many things that are heavier and more costly. Recommend, very strongly, using LED amber Edison bulbs which accentuate the color. The hardware is top notch, castings not stampings, better than on most more expensive similar. Installation very straight forward but this thing is big.

At first I was a little leary about ordering this lamp. I took a chance based on the reviews posted on Amazon's product page and went on to ordering it. Even while it was being installed I had this apprehension that the colors were not going to be as most reviewers raved about. Boy was I wrong!! This is a beautiful lamp that I hung over my dining table. The colors of this Tiffany lamp when lit are nothing short of amazingly beautiful. If you're looking for beautiful colors in a lamp of this type-look no further. You will not be disappointed.

We are very pleased with the light and how it looks in our entry. The multiple colors are what we were looking for and it looks great on and off. The four stars are due to light not hanging straight. We tried several things to correct it (because we really like it and did not want to give up) and ended up using a small ceiling fan weight to balance it. If anyone has thoughts or suggestions on a remedy, we are open. Otherwise, we are going to keep the weight in there so we can keep the light.

Used it in my dining room- transformed the entire room. Beautiful, sturdy construction. Soft, bright lighting. Assembly instructions are minimal but with some common sense assembly is doable. Very satisfied.

To hang in my entry hall (vaulted ceiling) in clear view of the vaulted ceiling in my living room. This is a beautiful fixture! I love it! It arrived very quickly. Was totally safely packed. A beyond perfect product!!!!!

Gorgeous light fixture!!It is actually a lot bigger then in the picture.Quality work although it is not glass - it is made out of resin - So do not expect real stain glass !

The glass work is beautiful I can’t wait to install the shade. Puts a perfect touch in our house.
